This hotel was booked by a company I do business with They could not have found a nicer place We had the true German experience,The food, the staff and the decor were excellent. The hotel was a traditional rustic German hotel Great value for the money looking forward to going back in the future

Large room (we were on the second floor of the "Gasthaus"), large und comfortable bed. Everything clean and tidy, but I don't rate "5" for service because there wasn't roomtidying on sunday Decent breakfast (aber es gab keinen Ruhe/Spiegeleier; nur gekochtes Ei. Schade!) The landlord was very helpful when we asked him for routes and places to visit.

Had very quick stop here so didn't spend a lot of time. Unusually for any hotel in Germany, the staff were rather unfriendly. Didn't get a single smile during check in, breakfast or check out. Apart from that, the hotel served it's purpose; decent sized room with 2 large windows, quiet, breakfast tasty & ok choice. I'd recommend this hotel...

This Hotel is actually two or three miles outside of Kerpen and is situated in a very drab looking village, which is saved by having a very nice castle and grounds some 100 yards from the Hotel. The Hotel itself is beautiful, with a carp pond situated just outside the restaurant area. However, perhaps because we had a dog with...

A great hotel for stopping off on a journey - within 5 minutes of the A4 autobahn. Had a lovely big shower room with a nice roomy shower. A good bedroom with Sky TV and a good wifi connection, good comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast - a lovely choice. Host spoke a little English but we managed. Within walking distance of...

Large bathroom and good sized bedroom. There was a good choice at breakfast. Host recommended restaurant that was within walking distance. It was certainly worth the walk! As we were en route from Bavaria to Dunkirk it was an ideal stopping off point for two nights.

We recently stayed one night at this little hotel. The room is very tidy, the view over the fields is lovely and the beds are comfortable. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had plenty of choices and was very good. I'd recommend this hotel to others.

We stayed here one night after our transatlantic flight to Dusseldorf on our way to the Rhein region. We enjoyed a beautiful high-ceilinged room with comfortable beds, great staff and delicious breakfast. Excellent bath with wonderful shower, the room also featured a flat-screen TV and a WIFI router. It's in a rural setting across from horse pastures; delightfully peaceful and...

We stayed here for one night as a stopover on our way to Switzerland. The hotel is ideally located a five minutes drive from the junction between the Autobahn 4 and Autobahn 61. The small hotel has about 10 rooms in the main building and a separate annex. We stayed in the annex which is ideal as it was very...

“Ask for a room facing the horse corral just outside the hotel. I mentioned that the location is excellent, but bear in mind that that refers to someone looking for a countryside inn.”
