The hotel is overnight and breakfast, only but there are enough restaurants within walking distance. The rooms are well equipped and CLEAN. The only minor negative is the very limited parking. There is ample, no charge, street parking in the vicinity but, for a stranger, following the one-way system can be a bind

We had a one night stop at Kamp Lintfort whilst visiting the Commonwealth War Graves cemetery at Rheinberg. Marvellous large comfortable room with every facility. Coffee maker and kettle, reasonably priced drinks in the mini bar, walk in wardrobe - even slippers! Everything was spotlessly clean. There are stairs at the side of the hotel to reception and our room,...

My father's remains are in the Britischer Ehrenfriedhof, Commonwealth War Graves Commission Cemetery,Reinberg. On consulting the Bing map site, the site is closer to Kamp Lintfort. We stayed 2 nights at the 4 star B&B hotel, Hotel sur Post am Prinzenplatz in KL.The visit involved a flight from Luton to Dortmund then a 90 kl drive to the hotel which has...

I usually stay at the larger hotels in the area if I'm visiting Düsseldorf but thought I'd give a smaller hotel a go. The room standard was excellent, fridge full of various drinks at reasonable prices, the tea and coffee very good as was breakfast, fresh fruit cheese and various cold meats with excellent German bread. They have obviously spent...

My elderly father of 84 years of age and visually impaired wanted to visit the grave of his brother Michael at the Rheinberg War Cemetry near Dusseldorf. With the help of Tripadvisor I discovered this gem of a hotel. Jurgen was really helpful in making the booking and arranging a taxi for the airport collection and offered my father and...

father and I booked a Deluxe Double Room for only 109 euros and we had a mini apartment available. 2 bedrooms with 2 beds each, bathroom, kitchenette and a small living room, in total 3 televisions. Very clean, comfortable, silent, old-styled, friendly and very helpful staff, they even let us park the car in the front yard. Breakfast was good...

“Having used one room and also seen that occupied by our son, all I can say is that there are no poor quality ones,BUT, if one is used to a very quiet night traffic wise, ask for a room away from the two roads which are adjacent to the property, also if one finds stairs difficult to handle, book a room on the first floor,[ reception is on this level, it is 20 steps up from ground level and the top floor is another 20 steps.]”
