Fantastic place to stay with excellent restaurant. Stayed in cheap room on second floor with not the best decour to my taste which is why it just falls short of 5 stars. But what a beautiful house with lovely grounds. Will go again

Small room but really nice and clean (charming decoration inside and outside the room). Big park & perfectly maintain. Bathroom was nice too : big bath, separated toilet, etc. Staff is also really kind. The only black point is the restaurant: awfull diner.

A very nice old chateau rebuilt as a hotel. First glance is quite impressive but it lacks a few things when it comes to the rooms. Not very comfortable and always cold and the standard was not what you expected when seeing the hotel from the outside. The restaurant was the same, very high expectations which were not fulfilled.

Wanting to get away for some peaceful time after a busy Christmas....We had a country home in this area many years ago and always dreamed of one day..... when we were older, to spend a night in this chateau.... It lived up to all our expectations!!!! The service was good.. The room was clean and comfortable...Very quiet and relaxing..The dining...

Undoubtedly a splendid looking building from the outside. However, the bedroom we were in was very bog standard and not at all in keeping with the faded glory look of the grounds and the bars. Very ordinary, an anticlimax, particularly given the expense of staying there. To be fair, we used it as a stop over. To get the full...

Chateau de Sissi is a lovely hotel in a beautiful little chateau. The coast is nearby and the surroundings are really authentic. The staff is friendly, the food is very good and the rooms are well cleaned.

We really enjoyed our stay in this historic chateau. Compared with some other chateau-hotels we have experienced, the price was very reasonable. The surroundings are extremely beautiful and the staff were most helpful, and made sure we got a place in the dining room even though we arrived at the last minute. The meal itself was of true gourmet standard...

On paper this was going to be the best hotel we stayed at during our tour around France. A Chateau, with lots of history set in large mature grounds seemed an ideal way to spend a few romantic nights, even if we are now the wrong side of middle age! How wrong I was, the place is big, almost cold,...

Beautifully situated castle surrounded by nature nature nature. Well maintained, treasured and in good condition. Free Wifi. Rooms are a bit small but OK, bathroom well equipped and modern and almost as big as the room - at least. View on the park in the morning is gorgeous. Staff is friendly and efficient. Plenty of parking. Lovely terrace and tennis...

“The outside of the castle and its gardens are wonderfull, but I would advise you not to book in the hotel, but somewhere in the neighbourhood in a B&B or a chambre d'hôte. More value for the price you pay.”
