The service was very good and the place was very child friendly with a lot of animals and playground. About the food it was average and nothing was exquisite, no "wow" effect also if it was nice presentation, especially for the expensive price we paid.

We spent a long weekend here in the close hinterland of De Haan aan Zee, the most pittoresque coastal village in Belgium. De Kruishoeve really was a nice surprising stay for my wife, our little daughter and myself. The owners, together with their son, are running this beautiful farm hotel. They do everything themselves, even baking the fresh bread every...

The location De Kruishoeve lies half way between Vosseslag and Klemskerke around 500 yards away from Duivekestraat. Silence and peace is guaranteed in this rural part of the seaside resort of De Haan. The nearest beach is approx. 1.5 miles from the farm in Vosseslag while the main beach of De Haan and the beach of Bredene are both around...
