I stayed at the Hotel Torenhof for one night on a business visit to the area. I found it down a dark lane in a secluded and very quite area. I arrived after 9pm but was welcomed and shown all I needed to see. There is no bar in the hotel, but the proprietor, who spoke excellent English, brought me...

Feels like a little castle. Easy & free parking. Warm & friendly reception. Breakfast served to the table. I enjoyed the calm & quiet atmosphere. In the middle of nature, but still easy to reach (max. 4 kms from the highway)

I picked this hotel by Internet research in order to have a one night stay on our way to Calais. We were looking for a nice quiet, dog friendly and interesting looking hotel. We were not disappointed. The hotel is very nice. The dog was no problem at all and there a good opportunities to go for a walk. The...

This hotel is just outside Gent. If you're not in a hurry to go downtown Gent at night, you may consider staying in this Castle style hotel. It's quiet and peacefull and the hallways and rooms give you the feeling you're staying in an old castle. But for those who are in need of an elevator, they do have one!...

Torenhof Hotel is simply amazing! The rooms are beautifully designed&comfortable, the breakfast is delicious&you have a variety to choose from. The location&surroundings of the hotel is amazing even in autumn(when I was there) but even more on summer, spring&winter. You can get very easy from the hotel to the bus station and from there (bus 34,35,36) you can get to Gent...

We stayed here at the end of a road trip to and from Southern Italy. We chose this hotel because of its reviews and because it was dog friendly. It is also near Ghent where were spending our last day before catching the ferry from Zebbrugh to Hull. The building is in a nice area surrounded by suburban homes and...

This is a really quirky arts and crafts style house and former home of the Belgian artist Albert Servaes. We were greeted as soon as we pulled up and shown a garage for our motorbike. Our room was furnished in a classic country house style with a very modern bathroom and everything was immaculate. The garden is lovely to sit...

Stayed 3 nights whilst touring on our motorbikes. We were offered a garage to park the bikes in which is great if it rains, fortunately we had glorious weather. Our hosts were of the most accommodating we have ever experienced, nothing was too much trouble. Extremely helpful giving us a map showing us where we could park our motorbikes in...

Had an overnight at this hotel en route to Holland. The hotel is superb, in a beautiful location off a country lane. Tranquil but within reach of lots of places. The room was first class, the hotel owners and staff paid every attention to our comfort. The Belgian breakfast was the best breakfast we have ever eaten and the hot...
