I just love Koh Samet this is my forth visit the last three at the La Lune , the last time I stayed there where large Chinese groups that seemed to arrive late afternoon take over the pool. They are very loud not rowdy just seem to shout at each other. The odd thing is they would leave soon after...

It is an average resort through though the pictures on the website look much nicer. The room is clean and of decent size. The beach was almost non-existent in front of the resort; may be it was a high tide season. Do check the pricing on the hotel website as one may get a better deal there.

Great staff and warm welcome. Great service and food. Nice room and bed. A sign to ease finding it would be a nice addition; otherwise impeccable. Great price/quality ratio! Seems to be popular for families - very active during the day, calm during the evening.

This is my second visit to the La Lune the last time about two years ago in January. Here now in September it is much quieter. There seems to be little if any change the staff are very polite (as most Thais are) accommodating and helpful without being in you face. Rooms are not large but big enough for two...

I think the options and standards on this island is very limited but the amazing beach makes up for it. there are no signs leading to the hotel but follow the tom pizza signs or take speed boat direct to the hotel beach. don't expect too much in service staff but manager on duty is helpful to arrange your needs.

La Lune is a nice hotel on Wongduan beach. We stay there 3 night and it is okay hotel but we do not understand why the price is so high on this time of the year, the hotel is booked 10% but still they will not give us a low floor room as they tell os all room is booked...

The hotel was right at the center of Ao Wong Duan, so the speedboat was able to directly take to the front of the hotel. I booked the hotel based on other reviews on the site, hoping that it would be a quiet and relaxing stay. Unfortunately I found out it was the most popular hotel on the whole Ao...

We had booked the hotel for four nights but we enjoyed it so much that we extended our stay with three more nights. It's a great place to stay at if you just want to relax and enjoy the beautiful beach and the fantastic sea. The beach is clean and calm. Once in awhile someone passes you by to ask...

The hotel is located right on Wongduan beach, good rooms with terrace and partly seaview, swimmingpool, ok breakfast. The beach is smaller and more quiet and much more relaxed than Sai Kaew Beach. It's easy and cheap to rent a motorbike to experience the island and easy to get a taxi to town at night if you want.

My experience in La Lune Beach Resort is not very good. Even though the resort have free wifi, good services and good location, but there is one thing I hated very much, the cats and the flies there. It is very annoying when you are eating your breakfast and there is a bunch of flies flying around you and stops...
