A bit of a strange layout on an unexpectedly large plot of land meant it could be a little difficult to navigate. Decent sanitation by island standards (which aren't very high, so the rating is relative) but a very friendly front desk staff.

We booked a room thru Thailand hotels.com but it wasn't available on arrival ! Should have been 800 baht. Not the hotels fault however they offered us a room at 2500 a night which apparently was "deluxe". On this trip we have stayed in 12 hotels never paid more than1800 baht so no way was this deluxe. To be fair...

I'd stayed here a couple of times before and liked it for its quiet ambiance. Not this time. The owners were hosting a large tour group, and had set up a Karaoke system in the restaurant. Other guests were forced to endure drunken Thai Karaoke singing that went on until 10 PM. The ear splitting noise shattered the peace and...

We find this place ideal for a family holiday with young children. It's at the quiet end of the bay. The gently sloping beach is great for kids. The very attractive restaurant serves good Thai food (and some Western dishes). The noodle bar is perfect for a quick lunch. The juice hut serves delicious smoothies and shakes. The staff, many...

Just got back, we spent 5 most beautiful days in this little bay. Beachfront villas are more than excellent, clean, bright and really ON the beach, maybe not even 20 m from the sea! As we had a chance to walk along the bay (350m) and see other "resorts", we highly recommend Vongduern villas, they are ON the beach, just...

Rooms are located 20 meters from the beach. My superior room was good, a better maintenance should be used but overall had enjoyable time. Breakfast was great but don't rise expectations, too high. Restaurant is located,on the clif and view of the bay while taking you morning coffee was superb. Take into consideration that the location in the south east corner...

We stayed at this hotel (2 adults with five children) in October 2014. Rented two rooms - one large room was excellent having been refurbished, the other room was a little tired but everything worked. For the price we paid for seven people staying we were more than happy with the hotel. Decent breakfast and lovely quiet location right on...

We spent 4 days there in September, and I have good memories of it. Our bungalow (Beach house) was very close to the beach, we were to disturbed by neighbours and all the amenities worked well. The Wi-fi was ok (though not very powerful from the room), so was the shower and the bed was spacious and comfy. The breakfast...

Me and my family along with 15 others stayed at Vongduren Villas. We were a family of six and when we arrived we were given a room away from the beach which had three double beds. My son who was sixteen had a deluxe room close to the beach front. The room we had as a family was less than...

The Vongdeurn resort is very beautiful but it was really let down by the grubby standard room they gave me. Considering the entire resort was empty I have no idea why we were put in what seemed to be one of the oldest and worst rooms- really in need of renovation. The room was complete with cockroaches, ants and mosquito's...
