This is somewhere we have visited for around 6 years... We have stayed in ages of the cottages however millers hill is Defo our favourite and this is our third visit.. This time there was an addition of an outdoor hot tub. There is also a complex with gym, pool, sauna, steam room which is very adequate for a family....

Visited in May and stayed in Comby Hills cottage which was excellent. Loads of space, quality furniture, very comfortable, well fitted bathrooms etc. Only used the log burner one night as the cottage is really well insulated and was always lovely and warm. Lots of things to do on site - the pool is slightly tired but good size and...

We went with our sister and brother in law and were warmly welcomed by the owner on arrival (welcome pack honey, eggs, wine, nespresso pods, etc also lovely). We stayed in Craggy and had a lovely outlook from our lounge and double bedroom of the lawned area with fields in the distance - a very pastoral location with sheep in...

An excellent Spa facility, together with beautiful countryside surroundings we find ideal for jogging and walking and nature watching. We have just returned form a weekend stay at Heron Hill. Just absolutely gorgeous. Every comfort has been thought of and house is stunning. There is even a 'house' mobile to use in case yours has no reception! The onsite facilities are really good and we enjoyed the pool, the gym, the playground, the trampoline and the games room. Plus...

Thank you, Claire, for your compliments. The bar is being raised ever higher in our industry so we have to keep on trying to improve. I'm very pleased that you enjoyed your stay, we are pretty handy for you. Also agree with you about the College Valley, although we are spoilt for choice in the Cheviots, each valley has its...

We have stayed in cottages all round Northumberland, one set in particular several times near Bamburgh. Theres now a new place to stay! Peter was very welcoming, and the honey in the welcome pack is fantastic! The gym and pool, plus outdoor facilities were clean and well maintained, theres something for everyone. Having a log fire was a bonus, particularly...

I have just returned from a long weekend with 3 friends. We stayed in the night fold cottage which was lovely and spacious and warm. The log fire was definitely the best thing. We had a small welcome package with eggs, bread, honey and wine which was a nice gesture. Some of my friends used the pool and spa and...

we stayed for a week at the tail end of the summer. The location is a bit off the beaten track, so a fair amount of 30 minute drives. But within 30 minutes there are a huge amount of things to do, and the quite (and the night skies) benefit. What really sold it to us though was the really...

We enjoyed the pool, sauna, tennis court and games room. We had many day trips out to Alnwick, Holy Island, Dunstanburgh, Farne Islands etc. all easily accessible. Highly recommend for a family...

We explored the local are and beaches on bikes, walk round the lake and looking forward to returning. The whole ethos appeared to be to provide the perfect holiday...
