its location allows for a number of diving and snorkelling adventures and hosts a well informed and well trained diving team to help you with it. Other than for the wifi - which is available only in the common areas; the services provided are of high standards with a very helpful and accommodating staff. Lovely for relaxation and getaways!

My wife & I were on a dive liveaboard, Ark Noble, and wanted to celebrate our wedding anniversay with a romantic meal on the beach of a resort island. With the help of the captain & dive guide we were booked to visit & dine on Ranveli Village on 31st January. We were taken from our dive ship to the...

We arrived and was greeted with a cool towel and complimentary drink. Sappe, guest relations, made us feel really welcome and explained all facilities and tours on check in. Our waiter Saiful Isalam was brilliant at every meal and even moved us to a better sea view for our final couple of days. All tables are allocated on arrival but...

When you read reviews on Ranveli there is a range of opinions. Here's my take on why: When we first arrived there were 10 people vacationing on the island. We loved it, We had our own island all to ourselves. I believe the island can hold just over 150 guests. However, it does change the experience: The first 2 days...

Owned by local people who have created a very cosy environment with a variety of small cosy places to relax and enjoy. Fabulous options for scuba diving (small PAT certified dive master centre...

Ranveli has a lovely front area with decking and comfy chairs and loungers to watch sunsets and go into the water from. Also loved the resident herons and iguana! Good home reef, some lovely staff members. However the buildings are really old and in need of an upgrade, there was a strong smell of mould in our room and even...

Your stay in the Maldives depends on the island you choose, and because that was my first time I tried to read as many reviews regarding Ranveli Village. I care the most about coral reefs, coulorful fish and sandy beaches. And I could find them all. The beach surrounding the whole island is wonderful, small pool for kids, Bangalow-like restaurant,...
