This was my second stay as I've returned to NZ and it was even better than I imagined. I booked the family room for my aunt and I and we had private access with table and chairs to enjoy the sun and then stars. The kitchen in the hostel is very well stocked and there is a great BBQ. I...

What an awesome place with a lovely friendly vibe. The hosts are friendly and helpful. The place has a wonderful gentle feeling. We had the self contained room with a double bed and a set of bunks. A lovely outdoor table and chairs to eat dinner and drink a lovely bottle of wine. It is only a few short steps...

Stayed here for one night on our Xmas travels south and it was probably the best stop of the trip. The room was simple and clean, but perfect for us. The remainder of the facilities were ideal to relax in and enjoy the company of others. I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance.

Very personal feel to thos hostel. The managers even provide home baked treats for those staying. It is centrally located in town with an easy walk to the supermarket, eating places and the local pubs. I personally enjoyed the hike up conical hill as recommended by one of the staff. Thanks for a great stay. Would definitely recommend.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at the hostel for two nights and had a lovely time. It felt more of a house rather then hostel because of the sense of cosines and tranquillity. We had a lovely private room and the shared kitchen had all facilities. The hosts Yoko & Tristan were very helpful and sweet.

I stayed here with my sister in a private room, found the accommodations to be everything we needed and great value for money. Was my first time staying at a backpackers and I was pleasantly surprised. Would definitely stay here again.

My fiance and I came here for a weekend getaway from Nelson, New Zealand. My first impression upon walking in was how cozy the place was. A fire was lit in the wood burner, it was warm and softly lit. The backpackers has a great log cabin feel. The kitchen and bathrooms were very clean. The staff was incredibly friendly...

I've stated at a huge amount of backpackers but none have come close to this quality - beds were fully made, heater and blankets provided in the cupboard, massage chair, books, board games and a fully equipped kitchen. Owners were lovely and the whole vibe was super relaxed and fun. Bathroom was top notch. Would definitely recommend.
