My wife and I decided to stay at this accommodation based on a random search online. We had no expectations but when we arrived we were captivated by the place. The birdsong is amazing. We were going to have dinner at a local place but we decided to use the bbq that came with the chalet because of how great we felt being at The Rocks. The chalet is so private and spacious. The bed was great. We liked how they had everything necessary in the kitchen. The attention to detail is inspiring. I have taken lots of photos including the 50m walk to a grotto to see glow worms. These will be shared with friends

My wife and I wanted a clean, comfortable, well equipped motel for the one night we were staying in Hanmer. We got just that! Chalet no. 1 was tops not just in it's number but in every aspect. The location was very quiet. The owner was friendly, polite and non-intrusive.

A lovely stay at the Chalets Motel. A very pleasant surprise and would definitely recommend staying here if in Hamner Springs. Stayed in one bedroomed stand alone chalet. Quiet, clean lovely chalet. Very tranquil setting close to restaurants and bars. Great price for lovely so comfy accomodation.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cozy comfortable clean compact cottage hiding away from the tourist bustle. We were greeted warmly and even offered the morning Press. The chalets are spaced well apart with private individual car parks. There's an easy 10minute walk to the Village and world class mineral baths. The Motel offers a peaceful break from city hum-drum.

We had such a cozy stay in our chalet. Beautiful log cabins with gorgeous views of the mountains. The kids loved the trampoline. Kitchen is well stocked, incl French press for coffee (huge plus). Kind owners, will definitely be back!

I tried booking this place for my wife to have a get away with no husband or kids. When reception cut out on the phone while talking to an employee I ask him to repeat himself and he then YELLED his response at me in an annoyed tone. Unprofessional and unnecessary. Bad phone line is no excuse for this behavior.

Really comfortable beds in very cosy warm chalets. The host was great, heaters were on when we arrived and he very kindly agreed to change our dates when our plans changed . Great location, close to town but not too close

This was our 10th stay at the Chalets (and 7th in Chalet 5) and every year there is something new. Last year a new fridge and this year a new (larger) bed so we wonder what we will find next year. The chalets are all well kept and Andrew, Vera and staff look after them and their guests really well. It is a reasonable walk to the thermal pools and we have booked for next year and, travel restrictions allowing, June this year.

This was our third stay in Chalet # 10. Another friendly welcome to a great accommodation. We enjoy staying here because it's just the right distance to the town center but feels like your in the country. We arrived on a windy but sunny day, after a flight from Auckland and picking up our second car rental (Go Rentals, the best). It was nice to arrive to a place we knew, like coming home. Comfy bed, nice to sleep with the window open. My husband thanks you very much for the Sky Sports channel where he could watch the NFL while he was laid up from an injury. Great kitchen with all you need.Like being able to recycle outside our own place and the laundry and outdoor drying space is a nice amenity. Clean and cozy two nights stay thank you very much.
