We did not stay at the cottages, we were only driving by on the way to the Girraween National Park but took advantage of the perfectly located cafe and the cellar door offers where we could buy a few bottles of good wine.

This restaurant perfectly sited in the heart of tiny Ballandean serves a great dinner within a well restored historical old church. Nine of us were expertly served dishes all covered in food,a great selection of well priced wines was used to lubricate and aid mastication, highly recommended for a great night out. We all live locally so did not stay...

Lovely meal, great service. Excellent menu and wine list. Good atmosphere in a lovely venue. Bar area for pre dinner drinks. Cottages attached for accommodation. Open fire places for winter. A good place for that "Brass Monkey " experience.

John and Penny looked after us very well, vineyard cottages are highly recommended. We finished off our stay with a great meal in the restaurant and an excellent bottle of wine from the local Tobin Vineyard.

This is a great place to stay when visiting The Granite Belt. We have stayed here before and will do so again. John and Penny are wonderful generous hosts. These are clean, well appointed cottages with great food in their restaurant. The grounds are outstanding too. Sitting out front drinking a local wine as the sun set was magical. Do...

Amazing to find such a gem on the New England Highway; beautiful gardens complete with wistaria; quaint and comfortable cottages (the King Terraces are the pick of the bunch); lovely dining and breakfast areas with ditto food. Delicious dinner of the extremely well cooked home variety - the sort you'd spend days knocking up for a dinner party; brilliant breakfast...

We ate here last week on a Wednesday night (when there's not a lot else open in Ballandean). We really enjoyed our meal and the environment. We had the restaurant to ourselves and enjoyed talking to the chef after a long day visiting vineyards and generally indulging ourselves. A nice way to round off the day....

We had diner here during a recent visit to Ballandean. From booking the table and arranging for a special request for when we arrived nothing was too much trouble > we were met by the owner and shown our table immediately. The menu was not extensive but contained many choices for us , all which we thoroughly enjoyed . Service...

We had a party of 8 (4 rooms)for two nights. The rooms were comfortable and the hosts friendly enough however the chef spoilt the weekend for us. He refused to serve breakfast to one of our group on the first morning because she tried to order at 9:01! Breakfast is only served from 8-9.00. The evening meal was only average...

Hi Mark. Firstly I would like express my sorrow for your disappointment and respond to your comments. I have spoken to our Head Chef and he explained to me that there was no problem with the guest having continental breakfast when she arrived at 9:01 it was 15 minutes later when she decided she wanted a cooked breakfast that the...
