Very basic accommodation but its all that l needed due to work commitments. There's a comfortable lounge and tv room and lovely gardens.....front desk personal were slightly too business like....the other guests were quiet and lovely. I was disappointed that the jam at the continental breakfast wasn't homemade!!!!

We required accommodation in Toorak for several days and secured a room at the CWA B and B , its a grand property and a delight to stay at the staff were very helpful and friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The room had an ensuite which worked very well and even though it was cold in Melbourne we...

I haven't stayed at the Victorian CWA's Toorak residence, but I have been in when picking up or dropping off out-of-town acquaintances staying there, and I've walked by when visiting nearby. The residence is a nice old house with older-style décor. It's in reasonable, not luxurious condition. It has a treed front garden with a drive and is set back...

The CWA Victoria is a beautiful 19th cent home with lovely gardens on a quiet side street. The rooms are very plain and simple but have all you need, if a bit Spartan- a comfortable bed, desk and sink. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the rooms and bathrooms very clean. It is a bit out of the...

I would like to give this accommodation a higher rating, but as previous reviewers have mentioned, the other guests can be extremely noisy. This is the second time I have stayed here, and I must admit, the general noise from guests (especially from those who like to get up very early in the morning) is definitely an issue. It's such...

Great place and very cheap with breakfast esp if you are a Vic member. Breakfast is fantastic and a help yourself toast, cereal and fruit etc bfast. Roons could do with a little renovation and the bathrooms/showers are unisex. Can be quite noisy and it can be hard to be quiet due to doors being hard to close. There is...

A business trip to Melbourne brought myself and my 2 sisters to the CWA in Toorak. The accommodation is in a most beautiful old building in gorgeous Toorak, Melbourne. We opted for separate single rooms which were adequately furnished - single bed, electric blanket, desk, wardrobe and wash-basin. We chose to have single rooms with shared bathroom facilities to keep...

“If you are a light sleeper, I suggest you opt for a room at the end of the corridor and away from the bathroom. The doors are extremely hard to close softly unless you make a concerted effort to do it quietly, however many people just let their doors bang shut.”
