If you are city folk and love wilderness (but not real wilderness), then Pinery Provincial Park is for you. Honestly, really enjoyed my experience there, but it is not northern Ontario. Park facilities and staff were great. Washrooms were clean, park facilities easily accessible and lots of options for activities. Staff were polite and helpful. The camping experience was nice....

We visited this park several times with an RV. Park is huge, very clean facilities, you can do fishing or rent a canoe, the beach is fantastic. Watching sunset is a must see. Lovely small town with some dining options. Highly recommended even for a day trip

Pros - Campus stores to visit - Lots of space in between campsites for those looking for privacy - Larger than normal campsite sizes - No issues, pretty peaceful Cons - Horrible park rangers. They're trying to meet their daily quota, so expect lots of lies in order for them to write you a ticket (they're out to get you)...

We spent one night in this park on our way home from Michigan. We had a reservation in Riverside, which was one of the few sites left. It is a pretty park and it is really big! The sites were pretty private and good size. There were a number of drawbacks that I want to point out. Poisin ivy all...

We were camping over the weekend with friends and family. We were at Burley site. It's short distance from the lake, the campsites surrounded by trees so you can have your privacy. Close to the Cedar trail which can take you to the river where you can go kayaking.

I organized a family camping weekend for my husband's birthday a few weeks ago. We spent two nights at our two neighbouring campsites. The front gate staff were not very friendly or accommodating when one member of our party arrived early with her two babies and put us through quite a lot of unnecessary hassle in changing the name the...

We've camped here a few times now and we love it every time. The park itself is beautiful. The facilities are well kept and clean. The lake is clear and refreshing. It is within a short drive to town and groceries etc. The sand dunes are beautiful and offer some protection from the wind if it's coming hard off the...

A beautiful park to camp in. We loved listening to the birds and watching the chipmunks. We liked the wildflowers too. We traveled just after Victoria Day so the park was mostly empty. They have 1000 campsites in many different loops. The sunsets were beautiful along with the dunes. There isn't a lot of actual beach but it was pretty....

My friends and I rented the cabin and a yurt for the weekend in April and blessed with a good weather. We like what Pinery provincial park offered. Short trails, beach, bike trail and canoe at the calm river. Since it was low season, it was not too busy though all the yurts and cabin are occupied! Comfort station is...
