We were very happy with this choice among the local motels. It’s a bit hard to find but worth the effort. Our room was spacious and equipped with coffee service, microwave and minifridge. The bedding was comfortable and the room was clean. Towels, toiletries were decent. They offer a “continental breakfast” which turned out to be some boxed cereals and...

We stayed here for one night while passing through. The motel is located up the hill from downtown Merritt. We enjoyed the 10-15 minute stroll to and from town for dinner. This is a clean and well kept little motel. The rooms are in a two level older motel that has been updated. We stayed on the 2nd floor on...

My family and I had a wonderful four night stay at Retasket Lodge in Lillooet this month. The rooms at Retasket are clean with fresh white towels, spotless bathrooms and seemingly unworn linens. Despite being very modestly priced, the Retasket is well appointed. Our room had a bright and clean bathroom, a spotless near-new fridge, a coffee maker, high speed...

Stayed here for several nights with my hubby who is working in the area. I'm learning in Lillooet not to judge the inside by the outside . This Motel is hidden and the first impression is less than expected , (the neighbouring properties are run down or abandoned looking) .. But inside the rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean. Our...

no, not really, someone let their bunnies go free so they are around the property. this was a really good first stop for our trip. high up with great views, no noise from the road, lovely washroom, really good for families as everything in one room, 2 showers, 2 toilets, and washbasins. this set us up well for our next...

I have done a review of this Lodge a year ago and just stayed here again in June. Just to update: here with a group (6 rooms) and everyone was pleased at the upgrades to their rooms (new fridges, carpet, etc.). Spotless place and we had a great sleep. Beautiful view of the valley - great complimentary breakfast. Outdoor parking...

We weren’t sure whether to spend a night in Lillooet, but after a night at the Retasket Motel, we’re really pleased we did. The Retasket looks like a typical small town motel, a two story wooden building, with parking in front, but a few things make it stand out from the crowd. It is out of town, up on a...

Did a loop from Vancouver to Lillooet and back through Duffy Lake with an Australian friend. Wanted to show her some of our lovely scenery. I had some hesitation about spending the night in Lillooet, but was pleased with the very large room at Retasket Lodge. We had a nice view of the mountains and an area large enough for...

We stayed two separate times. Had a delay in leaving and watched as the housekeeping team moved from room to room. Not once did we see them take any sheets out of the rooms, only towels. The second time we observed that the sheets in our bed were soiled. Not a great sleep after inspecting them following our hunch from...

I am amazed that you would make a statement like that: “they do not change the sheets after the guests have left”. That is an assumption that is flat-out wrong. We pride ourselves on our cleanliness and would never do something like that. If a guest stays more than one night we change the sheets every other day unless the...

100% for everything! Including the view of the mountains in the setting sun. Spotlessly clean, excellent bed linen, comfortable beds, fully equipped, everything in good condition, large room - more like a mini apartment with table & chairs, desk, fridge and microwave. Its places like this that make road trips a pleasure. If you are doing the British Colombia Discovery...
