We enjoyed our stay here. Our room was very small but we had a great view. It was warm and the bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly, especially Fiona, the night manager. The buffet breakfast was good and there were comfortable areas to sit when it was raining. Wi-fi only on the ground floor. I would stay again.

Lovely hotel and newly refurbed restaurant is fantastic. We had just got engaged in Glenfinnan on the trip up to Mallaig where we had booked to stay for 2 nights on our holiday from Australia and were glad to be given the keys to what turned out to be a very nice room which had a lovely view of Skye,...

This is my second visit to this extremely comfortable hotel. The bedroom was as previously, spotless, warm and well appointed, and there was as before everything I could have wished for to make my stay relaxing. The service is very good and the staff all most helpful and friendly. The menu is extensive and food l freshly prepared and beautifully...

We booked in for a couple of nights and our room was lovely and spacious with superb views out to the Small Isles. The beds were the comfiest we've had in any hotel in recent years which was a definite plus. The staff couldn't have been nicer and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. Next time we come...

When planning our trip this hotel was what I had envisioned, cozy and quaint. The restaurant locally sourced food was not . The dining room is a new addition to the hotel. If you are able to be seated before sunset the view is lovely. The lamb two ways was one of the best meals we have had. The steak...

We stayed as a family at the West Highland Hotel in Mallaig having travelled up by train from Fort William. It is short walk from the station and has wonderful views across to Skye and the small isles. The welcome on arrival was warm and friendly. A new extension has been built to the front of the hotel which had...

the hotel is very old fashion but functional and has nice views, liked the bathroom-the shower was very powerful, on the other hand the walls are paper thin, we could hear everything from next rooms and from the hallway, did not eat here

During our trip with my wife we spent one night in this hotel waiting for our ferry to Isle of Sky. This is kind of a hotel which you think has its own soul :) The place is perfect for all those who want to explore the area of Mallaig and is also very convinient for those who just wait...
