The hotel is located on a hill and has amazing views across the water to the islands. It is very welcoming, warm and comfortable. The dinner was exceptionally delicious we had salmon and pork dishes followed by super desserts. The service was efficient and friendly.

There is not a lot of choice in Mallaig if you are seeking a quality hotel. The West Highland comes close although note that they have a range of rooms where some are far better than others.

Do you have disabled facilities?
No, they don't. Was there just last week. And it would be a challenge as there are steps leading to the entrance of the hotel as well.

I The highlander hotel is it highly rated by most visitors
I don't understand the question in the way it's asked!! The West Highland Hotel is a well run friendly family hotel offering local sea food and a comprehensive menu well served in a friendly professional way. The hotel is not glass and glitsy but that's its charm. The views from hotel are world class looking over the islands to the west.
