We had read the reviews but the Sithean still exceeded our expectations. Lorna made us feel so welcome, going out of her way to accommodate any requests. The house was modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean, the breakfast delicious and the views perfect. We had originally planned to stay in Applecross but we are so glad we stayed here and went...

We stayed three nights at the Sithean, Lochcarron. Lorna and Ken made us very welcome in their home, greeting us with tea and cake on our return each evening. We had the use of a lovely lounge overlooking Lochcarron where we could sip our wine , chilled by our hosts. There is a wonderful view across the Loch as the...

Where does one start with the superlatives? The Sithean has just 2 rooms and the one we styaed in was simply perfect. Everything in the room was of a quality which would put many large hotels to shame and there were so many tiny details which added to the enjoyment of our stay. I would guess that the other guest...

We stayed for three nights, and were very pleased with our stay. Our room was comfortable and the guest lounge had a lovely view over the loch. Breakfast was excellent. It was also very welcoming to be offered tea and cake when we arrive back each day.

We spent one night at the Sithean in Lochcarron on our drive south along the coast. The Sithean is a family home with its guest bedrooms on the main floor, family lives up above. Our room was clean and simply furnished. Their website is accurate. We were not too impressed with Lochcarron, however. We were told there was a pub...

We stayed here for one night before going over to Skye. The room was lovely, beautifully decorated with a really nice en-suite. We had a lovely welcome with coffee and cakes. This is the cleanest B&B or hotel I have ever seen, not a speck of dust anywhere. The house is spacious with fantastic views, the breakfast was cooked to...

The Sithean is on the hill overlooking Lochcarron and the views are glorious. The whole house exudes quality and we were given a very warm welcome with tea and lemon cake on arrival. The rooms were beautifully presented and the bathrooms had underfloor heating too. Breakfast was excellent and nothing seemed a problem to Lorna. A very enjoyable stay.

Situated about 1 mile outside Lochcarron , The Sithean is a super B&B where attention to detail is second to none. One of the best B&Bs in Scotland where rooms and breakfast are top quality and the peace and views we will cherish for a long time.
