The hotel was beautiful, the staff were kind. However when we arrived in the room, it wasn't as expected. The room was realy small and because is in the loft then felt even smaller. Apart that all was great.

We stayed here for the weekend whilst having some work done at home. Room was lovely and cosy, bags of hot water in the shower, being an old building it has lots of character. The staff are all friendly, helpful and welcoming. The breakfasts are fab!!! Fresh fruit, cereals, pastries etc but the highlight is the cooked breakfast, not for...

Altogether very pleasant. Comfy room/bathroom refurbed to high standard. Excellent breakfasts - either the mega-huge full english (with its 4 rashers,sausage,2 eggs, tomato, mushroom, beans, black pud and hash brown) or the delightful smoked salmon with bearnaise sauce.

Definitely recommend this to anyone for a night or two (or a week) - I would have loved to stay longer but sadly only had one night here - the rooms are lovely and well thought out while maintaining the character of the very old building - all round really lovely 👍

We booked the Old Bridge on the recommendation of a friend in the area. Our booking was the last room available for the chosen date so book early would be my first recommendation. The second recommendation is have a good look at the map before driving around Holmfirth repeatedly trying to find the hotel car park: the car park entrance...

Stayed for just one night for Valentines, but what a gorgeous hotel! The room was spotless and luxurious with a grand view from the balcony overlooking the surrounding town. Had an evening meal which again was faultless, probably one of the best attempts at fish and chips I've ever had! Credit to the staff who were very welcoming and friendly,...

First class experience all round. Staff were well trained and friendly. Food was amazing , location was fantastic , and lots of character pubs and eateries to sample. A great walking venue , even ignoring the TV fame it attracted.
