We stayed here with our 2 children for 2 nights and had a great stay. This is a lovely home with great character and Anne is so hospitable. We were given the top floor suite which was perfect for us – a double room, a twin room, a bathroom and a landing with sofa and coffee making facilities. It was...

Situated on a quiet road outside of the centre of Holmfirth we had a little difficulty finding it but just one phone call and Anne was outside waiting for us. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived in a beautiful country house furnished to a very high standard. The sitting room is delightful. Nice bedroom...

Having been recommended to us by friends, we decided to give Old Stoney bank Guest house a try .Pleased we did, because it is one of the best places we have visited. Warmly greeted by owner Anne and made to feel at home from the outset, in her beautiful house. Luxurious furnishings equalled only by 5* hotels. Found everything very...

The freestanding bath was an added bonus. Breakfast in the conservatory was excellent. Fresh fruits and yoghurt followed by a delicious cooked breakfast. A wonderful...

Having driven around most of New Mill trying to find the place, we found it. A haven of rest, peace, a loopy dog who was lovely, then we entered the home of Anne. It's almost a 'manor house' in furnishing, yet just comfy. Superb WiFi again, all over the house. Beautiful gardens and area, one strange tree that goes up...

You really feel as though you are staying in someone's home: luxurious furnishings, bounding dogs and no locks on the doors adds to the country home vibe. Anne is always near and cooks a superb breakfast.

We stayed here over a weekend in July and had the most lovely and relaxing break. The house and the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The bedroom was a perfect size and the bed was so comfortable with lots of pillows and a nice soft mattress. The best part of our stay was the breakfast cooked by Anne who...

I was expecting a b&b that accepts dogs (on request) to smell a little of dog maybe but not the case this place was spotless and fresh Anne and jerry Springer(Anne's Springer) made us feel absolutely at home...
