We had the pleasure of staying in the surreal and beautiful treehouse room this November. The location is peaceful but not too cut off from everything else. Dozens of lovely pubs with superb food are located within 5 - 10 minutes by car and the West Sussex downs are also only a short drive away. Breakfast is included and is...

After reading a few mixed reviews I was a little unsure of what to expect. When we arrived, we were greeted by a lady called Alison, although arriving 2 hours early she was happy to escort us to the Tree house. She gave us a map of the area and kindly chilled a bottle of wine be brought with us....

When you leaf through the Visitors Book and read through some of the thoughtful and quite evocative entries where couples have proposed or had big anniversaries here you realise how important this amazing little treehouse has been for so many people. As to the basics,it is cosy, with warm heaters when required and the bathroom is all very functional and spotlessly...

The most dirty and unfriendly place to stay ! the guy tried to talk but the lady was so unwelcoming and was quick to take our money before we had time to check out the place ! shower didn't work and made a loud noise so didn't sleep all night ! amazingly no refund or discount for no shower or...

This is a unique place to stay, I was impressed by each individual item in the room and bathroom. A lot of attention has been placed here and we appreciated our stay. The couple were very flexible in offering to help in everyway to make our stay comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was without a doubt faultless and would...

A beautiful location , idyllic. Unfortunately the treehouse has seen better days. There appears to be no upkeep on the maintenance of this property. The decking is worn and in in some places broken. No attempt to spruce it up in regards to paying guests. There are thick cobwebs everywhere. Once inside the bedroom looks lovely but again grimy. The...

I stayed here with my Mum as part of her Birthday celebration. The Barn was beautifully furnished and comfortable. The beds were a delight, crisp cotton and clean. Breakfast fun in a highly unusual conservatory, great to watch the birds and squirrel as we ate. Come here if you want something different and clearly designed with a respect for nature...

We were also surprised to see such poor reviews. We had stayed in the Garden Room 4 years previously and had loved it and had always intended to come back to stay at the Barn and I'm glad we did. It is a wonderful light living space which has been built and decorated imaginatively and eclectically with reclaimed materials. If...

We were surprised to find such poor reviews of this B&B and our advice is critics aren't always right! We had a lovely stay in the barn. It was clean, warm and cosy and an idillic setting for a tranquil break away from the busyness of life and a good excuse to live without wifi for a couple of days....

SO DISSAPOINTED, this looked so magical and unusual. The reality was something quite different. I had booked the Barn having read the lyrical description for my partners Birthday treat, on entering his face said it all. The SMELL OF DAMP, MUST AND GRIME was over powering to the extent that we DID NOT WANT TO STAY ONE NIGHT. The curtains...
