Very very slow service. Food was average. Roast potatoes were anemic, hard and salty. Gravy was more like colored water. The "manageress?" dressed in normal clothes, was rude and abrupt and dumped plates on the tables. The waitresses were lovely though. Won't be returning here.

Took the dog for a walk along The Wey and popped into The Manor for a drink. As we did so the heavens opened and the rain deluged down. Despite this The Manor refused to allow the dog to enter the bar area so we had to stand outside under a canopy while we waited for a taxi to take...

Absolutely shocking service, all young staff there that were shouting to each other about 'how wasted' they were going to get, in between going to watch the sport on the TV! Noone came to take our order so went to do it ourselves at the bar after half an hour of waiting!! Food arrived looking burnt to a crisp and...

Restaurant was virtually empty and although there were a lot of staff milling and we had to wait 30 minutes from ordering drink to receiving it. The tables were grubby and felt sticky When the food arrived, the chips were burnt and the mushrooms were extremely watery. The chicken wings were only just warm, and the steak, although medium rare...

We have been eating in the restaurant for years as it's a conveniently close location to home (8 minutes' walk). We weren't usuing the hotel facilities. We pre-booked for the restaurant at 8 pm on Saturday 25/6 and arrived just before this to find three couples waiting to be acknowledged. The 'greeter' eventually arrived after six minutes with no apology...

This should be a nice place to stop at, it's convenient for people, but no time after time, bad food, bad service, can't get the orders right, chairs and tables dirty, no wonder there was no one there.

We visited with our granddaughter at 5pm. The restaurant was not busy but the service was very slow. I had to ask another waiter to order sweets. My husband and I ordered the steak, mine was really tough and the peas were like bullets. The chips were ok but not many of them. My granddaughter had the fish from the...

Went here with my wife & 3 children, at 2-3pm, staff seemed a bit overburdened really, not the nicest of welcomes, everyone enjoyed there food, although my steak was medium/well instead of medium rare, that ruined it for me, nice puddings though. I imagine the outside area will be nice in the summer by the canal but it'll need some...
