Have stayed here for 3 weekends out of the last 6! Super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable staff, who always offer a warm welcome. All three stays they invited me to occupy the same room, as I found it being a Family room, I had room to study my paperwork and relax, without having to use the bed until bedtime. Not once...

The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to help - nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was clean and the family room we had was a decent size. Small touch but actually really good - you can hire DVDs so we had something to do with the kids later in the evening. Food was really...

We stayed here for one night this half term, 2 adults and 2 children. The room was a good size for 4 of us, the beds were comfy, clean bathroom. The food was a bit pricey, we chose to go into Wells to have dinner and more of a choice of food for the kids. Staff helpful and friendly. Good...

We had the family room with the balcony. The balcony was the best bit of the whole hotel. The mattress on the double bed should have been replaced years ago, was as flat and solid on the sides and more mountainous than the Alps in the middle. Was unable to get a good night's sleep and was constantly in pain...

Great hotel and we got it for £31.50 for a night , bargain. We wanted a cheap hotel in a location where we could visit places such as Weston super mare, wells and Bristol. Nice size rooms and let us book in a few hours earlier than the stated time

We stayed the night before visiting, and as it was 3 hours from home, we arrived late, so didn't want to splash out much. The hotel was excellent value at £45 for a normal room and £65 for the "witches hat" rooms, one at each end of the building. They were split level and could house 4, but for us...

Me and my mum stayed here once while visiting the caves and now return here every year (just because we can). We have always found the staff to be polite and helpful and always go out of their way to help (from advising on shopping locations, providing a fan, free glass of milk for my mum when her stomach ulcer...

I always choose to stay here when coming to this area on business. Great hotel, great nightly rate and the staff actually remember a face which rare these days. Car park on a slope so could be tricky in the ice or snow. Rooms are clean which is the main thing but I wouldn't say modern/contemporary. They are clean and...

We stated one night to see some of Somerset before a flight the following late afternoon. Room rate was very good - we added two continental breakfasts which were self service, very plentiful and good value at £6 per person. Check in was quick, free parking and wifi, staff helpful and room spacious and very clean. We would stay here...

We stayed here to visit the caves/cheddar and wells. The hotel was okay, bit shame the family rooms have a sofa bed and not single beds, but I suppose it's a multi function room. £99 for a night with the caves visit.... well worth it. Breakfast was upgraded for an extra £2 each.... was pretty average nosh, but set us...
