From a friendly welcome with tea and cake to immaculately maintained rooms and all at a reasonable price, this takes some beating. Add to this a good choice of breakfast to set you up for the day and, if booked in advance, an excellent two course evening meal. The evening meal is generally what Debbie has decided to cook but...

It is impossible to find fault with this b&b. The welcome was lovely, freshly brewed tea and home baked cakes after a long journey was spot on. The rooms were beautifully decorated and well appointed. The beds were so comfortable and there was a variety of teas and coffees available to make in the room. Breakfast was delicious cooked to...

Debbie and Andrew run this intimately cosy, classy bed and breakfast like a dream, with Portmerion pottery and a huge table in the conservatory, providing everything one could need to set a business person, or travelling party up for the day. Rooms are individually bespoke and spotlessly clean. The surrounding areas are well worth close inspection, such as Mallam Cove,...

Our group of five ladies from the US was warmly greeted by hosts Debbie and Andrew. Our rooms were well furnished and the beds comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed visiting with other guests as well. Also the gardens were a delight--we enjoyed walking through them and even down to the river. The sheep across the road were interesting to...

A warm welcome awaits from Debbie and Andrew. A cup of tea and a home made cake revive after a long journey. Rooms are cosy and spotless, breakfast selection is wonderful and the homemade evening meal is to be recommended. Lots of little touches, too many to mention, result in a five star recommendation. Ideal location for those wishing to...

I stayed here one night with a group of friends while walking the Dales High Way. After a fairly hard day including ascent of Ingleborough we were made immediately welcome by Debbie and Andrew and offered tea and cake in the conservatory before heading to our rooms for a shower and change. My room was certainly very comfortable and from...

A friend and I made a return visit to this family run bed and breakfast. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and made to feel at home. We had home made cake and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere. Since my last visit they have made more improvements to the establishments with new furnishings in several rooms. A lovely relaxing place...

Having completed a 3-Peak Challenge opted to recoup and stay over. What a great place to stay. Rooms are really comfortable, well equipped with all you could want. Choice for breakfast is excellent, but off course went for the full English. The owners attention to detail shows they want you to have a memorable stay, and we did. Worth every...

Should not be missed! A warm welcome guaranteed. Debbie, the hostess makes delicious bakes with tea. The Lodge offers excellent accommodation with lovely gardens leading to the River.
