Stayed for one night on the way up to Scotland, room was comfortable and clean, a bit dated but felt it went with the age of the building, we stayed in room 1 with a lovely wooden beam right across the room and with a great view overlooking the church. Evening meal was stout and steak pie which was really...

I chose the Marton Arms for its location close to the meeting point for the 3 peaks challenge and it was a great choice. Very nice hotel and pub, room very spacious and warm, very comfortable bed and everything was perfectly clean. On top of that, it was nice very nice that they gave us something for breakfast even at...

Stayed at the Marton Arms for 2 nights. What a wonderful old building steeped in history. Our room was lovely, very comfortable with everything you need. The facilities are second to none but what made it for us was Pauline and Russell and their staff, nothing was too much trouble and they were so friendly, in fact they went above...

This place is out of the way, but worth a visit as the evening food is brilliant. Our room was basic but functional. The bed mattress had seen better days. Our evening meal was delicious. My chips were as near perfect as you can get. I was looking at other diners' meals and all the food looked first class. so,...

We stayed at the Marton Arms for 3 nights last weekend. It was very enjoyable and an excellent base from which to explore the area. We had a friendly welcome and that approach was continued throughout our stay. We had room 11 which had a 4 poster bed and a nice view across to St Oswald's church and the hills...

Pleasantly suprised by how good our stay was at this pub/hotel. We had a great room with uninterupted views of the surrounding countryside. It was only a short walk into the village of Ingleton. The room was warm and had lots of character with beams and a four poster bed. There is plenty of parking spaces at the pub. We...

The Marton Arms is set in a lovely location. Our room was at the front of the hotel overlooking St Oswald's church, the chimes of the clock could hardly be heard and it was very quiet and peaceful at night. The breakfast had a good variety and the added bonus of black pudding. All the staff are very friendly and...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
We are a traditional Country Inn located 3/4 of a mile from Ingleton and just 6 miles away from Kirkby Lonsdale. We have 10 guest bedrooms, two of which have four poster beds, one twin bedroom and one family bedroom, the rest are double bedrooms. We are ideally located for the those doing the Yorkshire Three Peaks or visiting the White Scar Caves and Ingleton Waterfalls. All of our food is prepared freshly on site to order and we use locally sourced suppliers. For those Ale drinkers we have 8 Cask Ale hand pulls, which during the busy season we try and have all 8 on. During the quieter months this is not always possible. For those winter months we have two roaring log burning stoves in the bar and for the Summer months we have two lovely beer gardens, one out the front of the hotel looking over St Oswalds Church and one out the back looking over open fields. ... more   less
