Very comfortable accommodation to a good standard in the market town of Leyburn. A warm welcome and cake awaits you plus plenty of information on the Dales. Accommodated our need for an early breakfast without hesitation

Hi Wendy Thank you for the lovely review and hope you both did not get too wet on the Wensleydale Wander. No problem at all accommodating your early breakfast needs. We hope you will come up and stay with us again in the future. With thanks Kirstie, Graham & Henry

NIce views, but not very 'homely'. The location was good with plenty to see and do around the local villages. Plenty of places to eat locally and some particularly nice tea shops. The auction house is a good place to visit when open

Great location. Very welcoming hosts. Ideal for walkers/cyclists having boot room/drying room plus a map room with stacks of material. Not too 'precious' - you know that if you went down to breakfast with no shoes on, no one would mind.

We really enjoyed our recent 2 night stay at Eastwood Lodge and wouldn't hesitate to go back. The team were very welcoming and especially warm and understanding towards our last minute guest - our 3 year old grandson. They couldn't have done more to make him, and us, welcome. We very much enjoyed the breakfasts and look forward to returning....

The rooms, food, service all excellent. Our hosts were most obliging. The breakfasts were all made to suit each person. Afternoon cakes were a very welcome and very tasty treat each afternoon. It is also ideally situated for exploring the wonderful countryside. Would certainly recommend a stay there.

We stayed at Eastfield Lodge for 5 nights over Easter 2015, our fourth stay since Colletts bought it. The standard of accommodation was excellent, as always - we've had a different room each time and each one has been comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The lounge area with log fire and comfortable settees is a great place to meet...

On arrival we were greeted by the proprietors who made sure to inform us of the 'open house' policy so that we would feel free to avail ourselves of the comforting extras such as freshly home made cake-which later on could smell being baked and would be worth staying an extra night for! The communal lounge with the enticement of...
