Couldn't recommend this place highly enough. My husband and I stayed here for one night in September to meet up with friends. The owners were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in a room at the back - a converted building. The night we stayed the weather had turned cold, but we were very warm and...

What an absolutely lovely find! We stayed in the twin bedded annexe, which was attached to the back of the property. It was absolutely delightful! Cosy, warm, extremely well maintained with immaculate hygiene standards! The hosts were very pleasant and helpful, even offering us delicious homemade lemon cake! Breakfast was 1st class and beautifully presented. Beautiful meandering garden, with lovely...

Faultless B&B, from the initial welcome to saying good-bye 4 days later. Room spacious, range of breakfasts mouth-watering, super cakes and comfy bed. Will be recommending to friends, but not too many, as we'll wish to return. Thanks Angela and Manuel (sorry Derek).

What a gem of a b&b in the quiet village of Wombleton near Helmsley. Perfect location for visiting many interesting places in North Yorkshire. Angela serves the best breakfast we have had for a long time with the help of Derek as waiter. We had a very enjoyable stay thank you so much.

Well cooked breakfast served with a smile and chat. Will stay there again the next time we are in the area. Thank you. John and...

Stayed just one very relaxing night at Rockery Cottage as a treat and had dinner at The Plough in Wombleton. Angela and Derek run a fantastic B&B - arrived and made welcome with homemade cake and a jug of milk for our room - we had our own lounge area adjacent to the bedroom with really comfy settee and chair....

I can only say good things about our 2-night stay at Rockery Cottage in February. It was cold and snowy outside but the cottage was cosy and warm, as was the hospitality . We had a lovely en-suite room with a lounge on the same landing, very handy and inviting for a sit-down with a cup of tea. The breakfast...

Angela and Derek keep a spotless establishment and make sure their guests are well looked after. Our accommodation had its own sitting room and was very comfortable. Breakfast was everything you would wish for, and no guest will go hungry ! Other B&B's less than half as appealing as this one, looking to charge twice the rate could learn a...
