My partner and I approached this hotel with regard to hosting our wedding reception as well as providing rooms for guests, half of whom would be travelling from abroad. In addition, the wedding would be after the end of the holiday season, with the dates to be determined based on availability, and as this was not a city with a... More

Clean rooms, good facilities, quick check in. Good price. The breakfast was not included but there is a restaurant/cafeteria attached (breakfast was rather thrown at us by overworked waiter, and the restaurant did not serve dinner till really late). Close to the Basilica. We could park outside, though it was close to being full. Overall no complaints but not memorable.

Much of what other reviews say is correct. Rooms ar clean and no complaints about the staff. Bed had a rather hard waterproof protector which rumpled badly. View from room was balconies of the flats behind and underpants and knickers pn washing lines are a turn off. I found the restaurant to be very good and when I dined alone... More

Reasonable location, comfortable rooms, adequate breakfast. We had to stay in or around Talavera de la Reina and this did the job for one night. Very friendly and co-operative reception and bar staff. Breakfast was in the cafeteria and it took a while to realise that you could ask for more or less anything that wanted - I had a... More

Nice hotel, came for a few days with a friend. Clean rooms, courteous staff , nice hotel menu. Close walking distance to downtown shopping and ruins. Just beware that the city closes at 1 pm daily till 4 pm and you have the streets to yourself . Great history would like to have more available English but ...

Myself and my husband stayed at this hotel for 5 nights from the 12th of June along with a large group of Irish who had travelled over for a wedding in Talavera. To be honest there is not any choice of hotels really as this is a very small and non tourist town. The room was fairly basic but I... More

It is a clean hotel both in the public spaces and the room, however the bathrooms are beginning to look tired and well worn. The biggest down side seems that for breakfast, it is no better than going to any bar that does breakfast. No buffet deal that you would typically pay 7 or 8€ for and virtually everyone smokes.... We stayed here during a bike tour of Spain in May 06. The hotel is absolutely fine. It's well appointed, our room was a good size and was spotlessly clean. It's fairly well located in the town as well. My only moan is that it lacks any personality at all...but if you're after a pleasant, clean hotel...try this one.
