This is a true review as we see it & wished more people who did not enjoy La Bodega would write a review rather than saying NeverAgain. It would have made it easier to discount it. I do agree the cottages have been renovated superbly but please get rid of old fashioned frilly curtains around the bath. The accommodation is...

A very nice, roomy cottage in a lovely area. It was very quiet and we slept very well at night. The vegetarian lasagne prepared for us on the first night was delicious and lots of personal touches such as getting in some shopping and arranging for some beautiful birthday flowers. Lots of DVDs available for the dark evenings and beautiful...

Recently stayed here after finding it on Trip Advisor so glad we did.It was charming, peaceful and no more than a short drive away from where ever we wanted to go. The accommodation was rustic, clean, spacious and the rooms were naturally well ventilated. There was anything and everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday. Ray and...

The reviews here are accurate. Ray and Sheila have created a tranquil oasis of four cottages for couples in the non-touristy hill town of San Miguel, with a more temperate climate than the arid coast. They have used their artistic skills to create spacious stylish attractive accommodation. They live next door and are good hosts. There is a useful little...

Everything about La Bodega was superb .....the cottage and facilities ,the pool and gardens . Nothing has been forgotten from Sheila and Ray to ensure you have a superb and relaxing holiday. They are the perfect hosts friendly and knowledgable and an amazing support in an unforseen hospital admission! Our cottage was beautifully appointed and the kitchen had every appliance...

If you like busy Tenerife but prefer to stay in a small quiet cottage set in the mountains with three others by a pool and garden, then La Bodega may well be just the place. The four cottages are subtlety different (see website for particulars) but are all very well maintained, kitchens very well equipped, and there 's a good...

We have just returned from a brilliant, totally relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings. As soon as you walk through the gates you just relax, nothing is too much trouble for Sheila and Ray who are brilliant hosts. Fruit trees and flowers surround the swimming pool (cold at this time of the year but my husband ventured in) in the grounds...

We spent 2 weeks here in February in Bougainvillea. The weather was warm enough to sit out and enjoy about 1/3rd of our time, so we made good use of our hired car. I do recommend using the local firm suggested by Sheila, TRC. Our cottage was once the stables for horses, and the high ceilings and limited windows would...

We stayed here for a fortnight in November. We stayed in Bougainvillea apartment and were very, very comfortable! Sheila provides evening meals to order and we thoroughly enjoyed them. It is an ideal location for couple seeking a peaceful holiday far from the crowds in the major resorts but was only 5 miles from the coast and en route for...

We spent a week here in November. Good location as long as you have a car. The apartments were very well equiped, loads of space within. If you wanted total iscolation this is not the place as folks walked by your"space".Their meals were great and had a good lirbary of books that you could borrow/exchange from.. Enjoyed our stay.
