‘Le Jardin de Mazan’ is located in a picturesque village in the heart of Provence. The village is nestled at the base of the ‘Mont Ventoux’ and surrounded by the famous Ventoux vineyards. Being situated in the heart of the ‘Comtat Venaissin’ makes it easy to reach other well-known parts of Provence from the lavender fields of Sault and l’Isle sur la Sorgue, the antiques capital of France, to Avignon with its great city walls and famous bridge. The house has been meticulously restored to retain much of its XIV and XVII century charm. Original features such as the stunning XVII century staircase showcase the character and period of the house. This is completed by the beautiful garden which surrounds the house and includes a typical Provencal style heated swimming pool (27 °C from April to October) as well as a grand 100-year-old cedar tree. Agnes and Eric welcome you to stay in one of their 7 spacious bedrooms which combine the original authenticity of the house with the addition of some discreet modernization: a king size bed, modern bathrooms, air-conditioning, television and Wi-Fi. The house is equipped to accommodate our cyclists and bikers friends (locked garages, washing area…) as well as the possibility of renting 2 electric bikes on the spot. Dinner on request is available every day during the high season as well as sports or relaxing essential oil massage (masseur with 12 years experience in the world of professional cycling)

Le Jardin is one of those places where you can get a truly authentic welcome by the place and the hosts themselves. Hosts Eric and Agnes are exceptionally good in communicating with guests as well as for any help they may need. The rooms are minimalistic, but stylish, very chic and sparkling clean, in other words, just right! Its location provides easy access to environs, which was another positive for the stay. Looking forward to going back next year!

As I explained to hosts Agnes and Eric as we said goodbye, what makes the experience of staying at Le Jardin de Mazan so unforgettable is the incredible effort and care the owners put into looking after their guests. The lovely house and enchanting garden would remain so in any circumstances, but it is the enduring warmth of welcome that will remain with us. Each day - we stayed for 8 nights - was in fact planned together with them at breakfast. Whatever answer we gave to the question " What are you doing today?" , Eric and / or Agnes added in, suggested where might stop for lunch, what hours would be overcrowded in such and such a place, why that destination might be better on another day, asked what we might be particularly interested in seeing, what route we might take going & coming back...? Those suggestions made a considerable difference to the quality of our holiday. Whenever Eric was cooking we stayed in for dinner & ate (well) in at home garden. The other evenings Eric organised dinner for us in one or another of his " bonnes addresses." Our room (Clocher) and bathroom were spacious and very well appointed. The breakfast in the garden around the pool is a treat in every way; fresh fruit, home-made jams, croissants.. and I recommend Eric's special scrambled eggs! We are writing a list of the places we didn't manage to visit on this occasion to make sure we create the opportunity for returning to Mazan! Thank you very much Agnes and Eric! Barbara and Simon ( Milan)

Le Jardin de Mazan is the best. The creative input into this massive renovation of an old and ancient home, part of it 14th century, is perfect. The house has retained its character whilst being modernized (plumbing, etc). The linens are wonderful to sleep in. Agnes and Eric are warm and welcoming. Petit déjeuner was delicious with homemade jams, fruit salad and of course croissants from the nearby bakery. Top recommendations! I'll go back in the summer to experience the beautiful gardens, pool and respite from the heat under the massive parasol of a spruce tree.
