We stayed at the Diderot suite. A beautiful room, very clean and spacious. Very friendly hosts, very supporting and showing that they cared a lot about their clients. Great breakfast with great Baguette, croissants, Yoghurt, soft boiled egg, ham and cheese, jam, and fresh fruit salad. Everything very delicious and served in rooms with a great view. We felt very...

We visited here in October and were so impressed we were determined to re-visit as many times as possible!! This place is an absolute must if you want to avoid the corporate, chain hotels which have no character. This family run business oozes charm and the owners make you and your dog( if you have one) very, very welcome. All...

Superb hospitality from our hosts in a gracious hotel. Excellent location whether overnighting en route or visiting Langres, which is well worth exploring. The private, gated parking is a boon, particularly with a well-laden estate car.

Le Belvedere is run by a charming couple who put you at ease and look after you very well, without being obtrusive. The hotel is well located near the centre of the very attractive old town of Langres. It has, I believe, 4 guest bedrooms, and we had the one on the ground floor, which was spacious and well fitted,...

We were given a very warm welcome and the view from our room (The Royale) was fantastic over towards the lake. An advantage of any hotel within the town walls is private parking which this had although the entrance is very tight. Breakfast was very good with fruit, yogurt, ham, cheese, eggs etc. Thoroughly recommended.

This is a very beautiful old house in the old city of Langres with a wonderful view of the countryside. The rooms and bathrooms are very big. The owners had a problem with the room we had reserved for ourselves and our son and instead gave us 2 separate rooms for the same price as the single room. My 15...

We loved our evening spent here at this upmarket chambre d'hote, from the warm welcome we received to the moment we left. We were in the incredibly spacious ground floor suite, with a parking space just outside our window; it was ideal for travellers with laden cars. The 19th-century house is elegant; dinner on the terrace with a splendid view...

The Elliots are terrific engaging and attentive hosts. High ceilings, spacious quiet rooms, lovely outdoor patio area, and lots of greenery make this a peaceful place to relax. The this B&B is situated on the walls with a beautiful view and ideal for a walk around the ramparts or a stroll in town right out the front door. Secure parking,...

We stopped here after a very long drive and got their last room, the really pink one (which we secretly loved with its pink roll top bath!) The owners are an absolute delight, the house has been so beautifully restored, and the views from the back over the lake are idyllic. We were so well looked after in such a...
