We had a lodge overlooking a small part of the forest then the Pacific. The 'lookout' was fabulous place to watch the birds. The best walk was to the Arco beach- takes about 20mins and is a bit tricky near the end but so worth it- secluded, peaceful and the trees were teaming with life. Also swam in waterfall pool...

We enjoyed our two night stay and would have liked another day or two there. The room rate was a bit high, but the room was big and the woodwork, wooden chairs, and stonework in the bathroom made for a beautiful yet simple cabin. The staff were warm and friendly. Birds and animals were seen, trails and the beach walked,...

La Cusinga is a very nice lodge on an excellent location with beautiful views on the surrounding coast line and the Pacific. Even though the lodge is quite near to the coastal highway you do not hear the traffic. This is due to the situation of the lodge. The restaurant is also nice. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Wow, we stayed 3 nights, which just wasn't long enough. Lovely room, simple and comfortable, with drop dead ocean views from the porch. Great hiking trails with spider and howler and white faced monkeys to watch, as well as lots of great birds. The staff is terrific -- very helpful. The kitchen does fish beautifully. We had 3 great dinners....

Our children gave us this trip as a 40th wedding anniversary present and our overall experience was wonderful. The staff was friendly, helpful and went out of their way to make our stay memorable. For example Oscar the chef came out of the kitchen 1 morning and walked us down the pathway to try and show us where a sloth...

Saw 3 toucans in the trees within the first 5 minutes there. Great natural beauty, great views, beautiful sunset. Food was mixed bag- some good, some very average. (Don't get the fettuccini with Pesto as I did). NO Wi-fi so my teenager went through withdrawal. Apparently, it's been out for quite a while. Staff very nice and friendly. Rooms -...

Hola! Thank you for your visit and your review. WiFi has been a struggle, we are in the middle of the Rainforest with no phone line nor cable serve, so the only way to get internet is via a cellphone tower about 15 km away in the high point of Dominical, so any clouds, thunderstorm, lighting or issues with the...

I co-led a student yoga retreat here and we had an amazing time. The ocean views and service were incredible as is the architecture of the entire property. The yoga studio was the most spectacular I have ever experienced. The food is delicious!
