I think carefully about putting up a negative review but I want to share the experience my husband and I had staying at this place. We are travelling on motorbikes and initially we were accommodated and with undercover parking for the bikes. On the second night we developed high fevers and a severe rash from Dengue Fever picked up some ten days...

Hi Monica, I was very surprised and sorry to read your review. It is very unpleasant for us to tell clients they have to leave but as you know we are a small hotel with only 9 private rooms and we cannot send away a client that reserved because a clients want or need to stay longer. We cannot know...

Only stayed here for one night but got the impression this was a really nice well run hotel/hostel. We arrived super early on a bus from Dominical and had to drop our bags there before rushing off for a tour. We had a lovely warm welcome. They were really apologetic that we couldn't check in yet even though it wasn't...

It was such a cute place to stay during our honeymoon in Costa Rica! It is very nice and the owners are very kind people who help me set up a birthday surprise for my husband. The hammocks in the common area are one of the best touches and are very nice to use during a midday rain! You can't...

Love this hostel! It has a great communal area with whimsical designs. They loaned me a bike so that I could ride down to the beach, which was a very magical part of my vacation. I then slept in a hammock that night at the hotel, which I loved- so fun. The couple who run the hostel and everyone who...

My friend and I booked to stay in the tree house for two nights. It was great fun and the staff were extremely knowledgable about the area and very helpful. The food here was also cheap and delicious! We felt very comfortable and booked tours through the hostel at a much cheaper price than we'd seen elsewhere. Highly recommend!

We we're so happy to have found this place you really can't beat the price for a private room with AC and private bathroom. The room was clean and homey. The common areas were nice with a lot of hammocks to lounge in. The hotel is located in the center of Uvita and just 15min walk from the waterfall. The...

Really charming central hostel in Uvita. Close to supermarkets, waterfall and beaches (not walking distance). The owner Tray truly knows good hospitility and will help you with everything, really a friendly man. Very cheap price for good rooms and good location. There is a kitchen to cook your own food. Breakfast is not included but they serve free good coffee....

A really nice chilled hotel with friendly accommodating staff. the private room and bathroom were kept clean and was reasonably priced. Hammocks available to chill in and a shared kitchen to use. The treehouse outside also looked fun to stay in. The waterfall is a 20 minute Walk away and I would recommend to stay here when in Uvita.

I did not stay at this hostel, just visited it. I was staying nearby and walked past it daily, so finally went in to explore and found it to be friendly and delightful. It's a fun, artistically decorated, easy to come and go place right next to downtown Uvita. Fun art on the walls and open air play areas are...
