Definitely the place to stay. Great location, within easy reach of the main road yet very quiet and peaceful. Rooms were great, fairly basic but comfortable, clean and air conditioned - a must! Service was excellant - nothing was too much trouble. Always looked forward to typical Costa Riccan breakfast on the veranda and the spit roasted chickens by candlelight...

I stayed at Luz de Luna with my boyfriend. Having a very clean room with AC was my priority. At the beginning we were supposed to stay just a couple of nights but extended our stay as we felt at home. Very good bed, great shower and the swimming pool is amazing!!

I stayed at Felippe's Luz de Luna firstly with my girlfriend. We were actually recommended the place by a friend that was also traveling in Costa Rica. Upon arrival we were made to feel really welcome and it was great to have such a great restaurant on our doorstep. The rooms were really comfortable, the showers always had hot water...

We stayed at Hotel Luz de Luna during our stay in Playa Uvita, Costa Rica. The rooms were air conditioned with new beds and very clean/nice bathrooms. The restaurant was amazing, they are known for serving roasted chicken and really good pizza. The owner, Philip, was so nice and hospitable. We almost missed our shuttle bus to Arenal, while we...

A little hotel, which cares about their customers. The modern rooms are simple, clean with a very nice appearence. The sleep quality with air conditioning and new matraces is very satisfying. The pool invites to refresh, even though the water was not too clean. The restaurant, which is part of the hotel is absolutely delicious with excellent service and very reasonable...

We stayed at Luz de Luna for 2 nights, and lounged in the pool all day, ate at their restaurant La Fogata, and slept like babies with comfy beds and air conditioning. Breakfast which was included was the best ! The owners were so helpful. Great location, far enough away from the highway. During breakfast, we even saw Toucans and...

We originally went to the restaurant “La Fogata” which is part of the new hotel. As returning customers (to the region) the restaurant is our very favorite place for lunch and relaxing casual dinners. It has been open for 9 years with the same outstanding quality service. The prices are very affordable and the food is delicious, additionally the wood...

This place was recomended by several "local's". This location was perfect., down the road from The Dome, in Uvita . All rooms have a/c's (which was a real treat), no t.v.'s. The rooms are tiny but very nicely done. The beds are like a rock. I thought we'd end up at the local hostel sleeping in the hammocks, but surprisingly the...
