This resort is a must visit during your trip to Mahabaleshwar. It is quiet, away from the crowds, although quite close to the market. The tariffs are also reasonable. The resort area is quite large. It has a helipad if you want to fly in straight to the resort ! There is of course the kids play area. The views... More

Fountain is a mid range resort in Mahabaleshwar. The location is decent and some rooms face the valley. The rooms are big and some are newly renovated and the property is huge . A 5-10 min walk to the market which makes the location ideal. The meals are only served during specific hours which is a drawback and room service... More

Food has a lot of varieties to offer they do have a Gujarati feeling to it . There is a game room which includes table tennis, carrom and snooker table (extra charges). The hotel staff are... More

A large, well kept property with very helpful staff, hygienic dining hall area and surroundings, this is a perfect long weekend get away. The resort has a large Ballroom which can be converted into a conference room or a discotheque as required. The rooms are extremely spacious with a sitout balcony which can be used as a separate space. It... More

Fountain hotel is too expensive but not that worth at all especially the receptionists in general are too arrogant, dry, annoying, worst, they do not know the meaning of hospitality at all they don't know to talk, behave properly at the other end waiters and room service is polite. The reception people should learn some hospitality from these guys. I personally do... More

It was an awesome stay there with rooms facing the valley. Dedicated sitting area in the lawn with lush green plantations around. Swimming pool was clean and in between the pavement near to the lawn facing the valley. Food was great with combo of starters/ punjabi /south indian/chinese dishes with a great taste. Staff was very cordial and helpful. Near... More

Stayed for one night for a wedding. Was not impressed with the rooms, food or the service. It's a veg hotel, Breakfast spread is not great, food is overpriced. Not all rooms have AC, air circulation is not good and the rooms get stuffy at night. Would not recommend the hotel, unless you are getting it very cheap.

We stayed here for a weekend , most of hotel rooms are non-ac, spacious, but you feel hot because of poor air circulation. Food is veg and mainly gujju, nice food. We have been told that our room is ready, which was not, so staff took 30 min to prepare room.
