After our stay in a very basic place in Nungwi, we decided to raise the standard a bit and found Mamamapambo. Very warm welcome with a local drink, every single one of the staff always asking if you need something and spacious room with A/C. Well-designed, a lot of wood, very clean and comfortable. From the backside of the hotel...

Fantastic hotel with stunning views out to the ocean. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Slightly hairy journey to reach the hotel as it is down a very uneven road (if you can even call it a road!) You do wonder where on earth you are going and then the gates open and you look straight through the reception area...

Poor food for the value of money charged! Poor breakfast, always eggs with a minuscule side dish, like a pice o bacon, and few pieces of fruits. If you want to eat something else instead of eggs at breakfast( boiled eggs, omelet ,sunny side up or scramble eggs) you have to pay. For 2 persons we got 500 ml of...

Dear Noo S thanks for your opinion, even if it would be helpful to talk to us and report any problems during your stay. From previous feedback we never encountered problems for variety and quantity of breakfast. Anyway everything can be improved. Our breakfast includes tea selection, coffee, milk, bread or pancakes, butter, jam and chocolate cream, fruit platter, sweet...

This is just the place you want to find when looking for a small ,different and special place to stay on your holiday right on the beach. A warm welcome, charming and comfortable rooms with your own private terrace. Good food, only missed good coffee for breakfast. Felt like a home away from home :-)

Excellent choice Mama mapambo hotel for our honeymoon after a week of safari. Perfect hotel to relax lazily lulled by the sound of waves and palm fronds. Long walks on the beach, the changing of the tides gives the eyes a beautiful colours show and shades. Paolo and Cristina are the owners, attentive to our needs. All the cute and...

I write this review with still in the mind and heart the memories of a wonderful holiday enjoyed in Jambiani . Mamamapambo is a small hotel where you feel at home, very nice and with a strong African spirit but to live comfortably barefoot. Cristina and Paolo the two Italian owners have an exceptional staff, we spent unforgettable moments with...

The rooms are very nice decorated and each room has a lovely terrace where you can relax. Breakfast was good and enough (fresh juice, fruits, eggs, jam etc). The dinner is a bit expensive compared with the rest of the restaurants in the area and there are not many restaurants around. White sand beach in front of the villa. The...

Really unique property that really highlights it's awesome location alongside a beautiful beach. Jambiani is difficult to negotiate at night due to the lack of lighting but that's not a reason not to go. It's utterly unspoilt. Stay - you won't regret it

If you are looking for a peaceful place with an amazing staff, delicious food and tasty coctails, this is the best place you could ever think of! We stayed there for 6 days after exhausting Kilimanjaro climb and safari in Tanzania. This was perfect place to relax and clear up our minds. We had a room on the 1st floor...
