We stayed at the lodge for 2 nights to do Isandlwana and Rorkes drift battlefields tours . Having said that this probably should not be the only reason to stay at lodge as most people seem to do this .

Hi Alan, we were on a tour and only stayed two nights, you usually do Islandwana in the morning as it is close to the hotel and then Rorke's Drift in the afternoon as it is about 20 minutes or so by road. If we had had another night we would have tried the trek they do covering the retreat route from Islandswana to Rorke's Drift.
