A group gathered for a birthday party - we were separated but still in the atmosphere of the main pub. Great food, open fires and great service. The drinks are reasonably priced, the food very reasonable, and delicious.

Pretty good basic menu. Loved the schnitzel! Good service at the bar. A little bit packed though! Cozy for a cold winters night. A bit noisy but what do you expect for a Saturday night? Parking was good across the road in industrial estate. Would come again ...

A group of 4 we booked for dinner before a party. The front bar was busy when we arrived at 6:30pm but back room with dining tables and casual seating near open fire was empty. As night progressed more people came into restaurant area. We ordered pizza and wedges, food was of a good quality and drinks were reasonably priced....

A great place to get together with friends for a casual Sunday afternoon. Plenty of comfy lounges by the fire place with a great selection of boutique beers and a fab menu including home made woodfired pizza's, a deliciously juicy burger with crispy fries. To keep you entertained the front bar has a pool table and pinball machines. 4/5

Stopped in for dinner before going to the footy on a Friday afternoon. The pub was "heaving" unfortunately and trying to get to the bar was a bit of a scrum. However once at the front the choice of craft beer was massive. Our choices were tasty and refreshing but we thought a little expensive. We ordered dinner which was...

First visit back after the re-vamp. It's ok I suppose, but didn't find anything special or outstanding - so much so I can't see me going back - not by choice. It's not the only place nearby work, so no big deal. We had a work booking, they were very busy, we were short of chairs, long wait for ordering...

Great little weekday pub that's not too bust being hidden away in the back streets. Friendly team working behind the bar with a good pub menu with something to suit so many dietary needs. You can hang out in the relaxed front bar with great tunes playing just loud enough that you can comfortably talk and have a laugh, or...

I like that this hotel is hidden away and seems mostly to have a local crowd. Suitable for families with very small children when not too busy. The atmosphere is nice, warm and cozy, the meals are great and they have a decent beer, cider and wine list.

The Cherry Tree Hotel is like a country pub in the middle of the city. It has a nice atmosphere and even though it's quite busy the staff work hard and serve you quickly. The pizzas are good value for $16. An amazing place and the best pub in Richmond!
