This hotel is a time machine that takes you back to the 1970s. Inside there is a pool table, dining room, music, and a kitchen. It is not expensive, not fancy, and serves good beer. There seems to be a community spirit and the kitchen has a wood fired oven for pizza. I chose a quick snack of garlic pizza. It was not fancy, but filling.

We came for lunch on a Saturday, expecting it to be busy. It was pretty much dead, with a couple of locals in the front and no one in the dining room. The beer choice wasn't bad but being charged extra to pay by card every time was a rude shock. The food was very average. My husband got a burger which was very dry and bland - I had a pizza which had a good dough but the topping was fairly bland. This is a pub to drink in and eat somewhere else.

A group gathered for a birthday party - we were separated but still in the atmosphere of the main pub.
Great food, open fires and great service.
The drinks are reasonably priced, the food very reasonable, and delicious.

Located in the back streets of Cremourne, I've been here quite a few times in the last year. Good food, great atmosphere, good range of rotating craft beers.
Great pub to visit before an event as its walking distance to Aami Park, Rod laver and MCG.

I opted for the long black. It came out extra hot. With a side of sugar. I chose not to have the sugar. The coffee was worthy on its own. I waited until it had cooled down just enough. And then I gulped it down. I’d heard a lot about their famous brew for quite sometime. And to be honest it really lived up to the hype. If you’re in the neighbourhood, do stop by. And if you’re not, Ask yourself why you aren’t.

I stumbled upon this hidden gem when I went to look at the old Rosella tomato sauce factory across the road, and it was a great little surprise! The décor/vibe is really interesting, and it was a great stop for a quick refreshing beverage.
Having said that, I didn't eat there, and I don't even know if it is a hotel in the traditional sense (with rooms to stay in). The area has a number of old factory buildings, but it's mostly residential, so I imagine that the crowd would be mainly local. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a quick stop, just to look at the décor and pick up the vibe. (Make sure that you read about their history, it's literally incredible).

Just bought a mushroom pizza here - bland and soggy with absolutely no flavour and around 5 mushrooms. Sent it back to be brought the same pizza out and told ‘there is salt and pepper over there, that’s how the pizza is’ ... embarrassing customer service.

A group of 4 we booked for dinner before a party. The front bar was busy when we arrived at 6:30pm but back room with dining tables and casual seating near open fire was empty. As night progressed more people came into restaurant area. We ordered pizza and wedges, food was of a good quality and drinks were reasonably priced. A nice hotel tucked away in an industrial area, popular front bar area for drinks and relaxing back restaurant room for quality casual dining.

i live less than a 2 min walk so this is my local. really good bar menu - lots of decent wines by the glass as well as different beers. Great laid back atmosphere in both summer and winter. In summer, you can sit out the front them in winter the put the fire on so it's well cosy. don't tell too many people about it otherwise I won't get served! It's not a B and B though..
