Stayed here for 1 night as we were attending a gig nearby for the Comedy Festival. Our stay was absolutely flawless, we really loved this hotel. All of the staff were warm, friendly & fun!
We enjoyed a drink up on the rooftop bar which was a cute hidden spot and the bar staff were lovely.
The room was well equipped and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Loved the furnishings and all the little touches that had been taken care of.
We had breakfast in the restaurant the following morning which was delicious - service was quick despite being short staffed. Coffee was fab and the menu options were varied. We all ordered different items and each was better than the other.
We parked at the Coles carpark which was only a few minutes walk, undercover and cheap for an overnight stay.
Will absolutely stay here again - loved it!

It is nestled in a very eclectic part of Richmond. You expect hospitality staff to be friendly and accommodating, however I found them extraordinarily engaging, helpful and professional. The room was wonderfully retro, clean, comfortable and a little bit luxurious. A classy establishment with staff that perfectly match the atmosphere and amenities. You simply cannot go wrong here. Did I mention the dining options? It certainly is value for money! I will be back for sure

We normally stay in Melbourne CBD when we visit family but we stumbled across the Motley Hotel in Richmond recently. Well it's a fantastic new hotel on Bridge Road, Richmond. It's modern and fun with energetic staff. Love the design and fit-out. Great food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Rooftop bar for a quiet drink. Step outside and straight onto a tram and a couple of stops to the MCG or the CBD.

Thought we'd give this new restaurant a try as we are always willing to give a new local business a go. Ordered orange juice, scrambled eggs and well cooked bacon as an extra. Were promised the juice was freshly squeezed, then told it was from a bottle. This took 30 minutes to arrive. The eggs took another 30 minutes, so an hour all up. The well cooked bacon was barely warmed ham steak, 3 minute pieces as an extra. The toast was unbuttered so we asked if we could have some but by the time it arrived the toast had disintergrated under the liquid from the eggs. One set of salt and pepper shakers for the entire restaurant except they were both in salt shakers and we were told which one was pepper. The manager was underwhelmed by our comments and three of us received the same generic "too bad, so sad" email.

What a beautiful inner city stylish hotel to stay in for 4 nights, from the moment we entered we were happy with our choice .The smell was divine, the decor throughout the hotel eye catching and very helpful staff at check in and throughout our stay. I had booked a Classic King room , we ended up on the 6 floor, it was so quiet and had views across Richmond. Bed was very comfortable, the room styling was amazing, love the glass drawer. Welcome drink voucher in the bar a lovely treat along with sweets in the room. Can’t wait to come back and stay again next time we are in Melbourne

Do not stay here. Not worth the money. Dirty, overpriced, weird check in (four security guards and locked up check in desk, wouldn’t explain why) and smelly bed ( like you’ve stayed at a persons house after an night out and they haven’t changed the sheets for a while… that kinda smell under the “fresh” sheets) Zero out of ten

This is a great hotel in a nice part of Richmond with very friendly staff. For me the only downside is there is no real room service you can just get some food from downstairs during a short time frame. But thats just me being very lazy. The supermarket is just down the road and there are other options.

Absolutely fabulous ! Everything was perfect. The rooms are so well designed, so much thought put into every little touch. Super comfortable KS bed, beautiful bathroom products, beautifully decorated with a real New York type feel. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful Rooftop bar was great - we enjoyed a couple of wines - again great staff This ticked all of our boxes. We have actually booked to stay again tonight as we have a function in Melbourne. The city would have been closer for us - but we are more than happy to jump on a tram which again is easy with the stop right at their front door This is definitely our new go to hotel

If I could give this hotel more than 5 stars I would! The hotel interior’s are stunning, the detail in every room is exceptional. The beds are comfortable, it is clean and so many small details.
Breakfast at Ms Parkers was great, a la carte menu, with great coffee.
What really sets this apart is the service of the staff. They all go way above and beyond. Thank you for an amazing stay! We will be back!

This is a conveniently located hotel with its very own tram stop out the front. 250m from Church Street, which has trams going to South Yarra. Definitely a place I’d stay at on weekends as well. My room was fine. Lovely king bed, though I prefer the TV to be facing the end of the bed. I like the big shower head in the bathroom and nice that some toiletries are provided. No face washers though. Ms Parker’s is a nice bar facing onto the street. Didn’t get to try breakfast, but the menu looks pretty eclectic. It is great that these brands are part of the Hilton line-up. I appreciated the free drink as a Diamond member.
