The hotel is located in the town moonambel in the Pyrenees in Victoria. We stayed for one night and had a lovely time. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the swimming pool was a bonus as it was a very warm day. The publican Stewart was very friendly as were his staff. Stewart is also the chef and the meals were fabulous as was the yummy breakfast which was included in the room rate. Definitely would recommend a stay in this great pub 😀

We stopped for a drink in this quaint little pub and booked a dinner. We had a pleasant meal, typical pub dinner. The service is excellent, the publican real nice guy. Unsure why it is called a resort, it is a pub with accommodation and a swimming pool. Must do place to visit whilst in the area.

Grumpy Owner/host, would not bother to go back! Has been trying to sell for a long time, hope he does for it needs some Tender Love and Care. A pub with no beer on tap unforgiveable and very limited package beer to offer.

Stayed several nights over a business trip. The rooms were comfortable and the host was very accommodating. Large outdoor area was nice, had dinner and breakfast there each night and it was always decent.

Stopped in for dinner and found the pub very welcoming. Food was yum and cheap. Serving of local wines was great too. We had the Parma and fish and chips and were very happy by the freshness. Homemade chips were a nice change too.

Where to start, the room had no heating, no toiletries, only half a roll of loo paper, a used bar of soap in the shower, a rip in the sheets, flat pillows, little curlies in the shower base, hair in draws, stained sheets. Have a look at the pics ! You decide, but you have been warned.

Fun little local pub that we've been to many times over the years. Went most recently for a Saturday lunch on our wine tour through the area. Service was lovely. The food nice and very reasonably priced. I had the pulled turkey roll with chips. Very nice it was too, although I'd add a few leaves of salad and bump it up a couple of dollars as it seemed too lowly priced. I like it here and will definitely return.

Had to play gig at local footy oval. Too far to drive back to Geelong so stayed here. Price included breaky ( did not have as I had to leave early). Not so much a resort as a pub with typical pub meals and pizza as well as a swimming pool. Handy stop over if touring local wineries. Would stay again.
