Where do I start!! This complex advertises facilities that are not available. What is available is outdoors. Putting was flooded with all the rain. Spa closed. Gym equipment not fit for purpose. Rooms are badly needing a good refurbishment. Bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning had to be turned off as noisey fan and no way to change it. Went to Pavilion for an afternoon drink and bought 2 packets of crisps and 1 packet of nuts. Once we had eaten them we realised they were all out of date. The packet of crisps was January 24!!! Food at pavilion was good and reasonably priced. We brought some pizza back in a box for grandsons lunch the next day and the cleaners removed it from the room…… Tried to order a lager and lime at golf bar to be told by a member of the golf club that I would not get any lime as this was a bar for golfers….(very welcoming to guests - not) Would I stay here again….I doubt it unless it was fully refurbished and facilities available for all members of the family. This appears to be a hotel mainly for golfers with a course open to play in all weathers (even when waterlogged)

Thank you for your feedback. We value your opinions and thoughts, and we want you to know that we do take these into consideration. As you have stated, a lot of our activities are based outdoors, and unfortunately, the weather does have a huge impact on these activities. Our Day Spa is by appointment only, and this usually requires 48 hours notice so that we can organise appointments with our consultant. Unfortunately, this is not able to be same day appointments. It is very disappointing to hear about the snacks that you purchased being out of date as we have processes in place to prevent this from happening. The meals at both The Pavilion Tavern and at Lilies Restaurant are great for all the family to enjoy, and we are happy that you enjoyed your food there. We do hope that you will come back and stay with us again at a future date so that we can strive to improve your enjoyment whilst you are here, and so that you can witness how enjoyable it is when the weather is more accommodating.

Visited in Mid February and had a wonderful time. The golf course is very well kept and there is plenty of activities to participate in. Also the local restaurant was very tasty and not over priced. Staff was also very pleasant and helpful and our room was neat and comfortable.

Disgusting! Do not waste your money on this run down shamble. When we walked into the room the smell of bleach was overwhelming. When we finally got to sleep over the rattling air conditioner and leaking cistern on the toilet we saw large cockroaches running around the room, it was terrifying and needless to say I couldn’t sleep after that. We couldn’t get out of this mould ridden place and our feedback to the receptionist was dismissed as unreasonable as she gave every excuse as to why there were cockroaches everywhere. I was violently ill after eating a couple of mouth fulls of a spring roll at the buffet which was a mix mash of unrecognisable dishes that were obviously left overs thrown together. We were so disappointed by this experience and cannot warn you more strongly to not waste your money or risk your health in this filthy hotel. We will be complaining to the health department of the local Council because this place should be shut down.

Amazing experience at the Kooralbyn Valley last weekend!!! Upon arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff that made the check-in process very smooth and provided a comprehensive guide on the various facilities offered by the resort and some general information. The picturesque setting from the outback was absolutely breath-taking, offering panoramic views of charming kangaroos, rolling plains and distant mountain ranges. The golf course design seamlessly integrates with the natural environment, creating an unforgettable golfing adventure unlike any other. But it wasn’t just the views that made our stay memorable. We genuinely enjoyed the delectable buffet that incorporated a diverse range of ethnic cuisines as well as the buggy tour around the golf course, affording us a fun and scenic experience. I would definitely come back with my family again!

We went with a group of friends to spend a weekend there. The 70mins trip itself is a wounderful journey to start with, the natural beauty of rural setting give you a peaceful feeling. The check-in is very smooth and the rooms are very spacecious and clean, the beds are comfortable. We tried all the facilities in the activity center which is so fun to do with friends together if you are not so keen to go out for the golf. Late afternoon we particular enjoyed the buggy tour around the golf -the view is breathtaking; the kangaroos put a show for us- two kangaroos wrestling and trying to throw each other to the ground, it is so funny to watch. When you are hungry, the Pavilion pub feeds you delicious food. Next morning we had buffet breakfast at the Lilli restaurant, the setting is so beaufiful, we enjoyed the variety of yammy food and all very satisfied heading home. We will comeback again.

Where do I start. Unfortunately the place is in a state of disrepair. You walk into reception and the musty smell of wet carpet hits you in the face. The rooms are tired, old, and knocked around. The pools were unusable due to storm damage despite me ringing to check they were operating. They advertise facilities and activities that don’t exist….. like the spa which I understand from talking to locals, hasn’t opened in years. It’s deceptive advertising at its best. The golf course is beautiful if you are a golfer but this is where the beauty ends. The outside lights when walking to your room at night are largely not working. The potential is huge but I guess if the owner doesn’t want to spend money the resort will continue to deteriorate like everything else associated with it that has been run into the ground and left to rot.

We stayed at the valley for 1 night with friends lately and had a great time there. It was an easy 1-hour drive from the south side of Brisbane. We all truly enjoyed the fabulous golf course view, the lovely kangaroos, the yummy buffet, and the nice engagement with friendly staff. The highlight of our stay was the delightful buggy tour around the golf course, which offered a fun and scenic experience.
