We've been coming here for about 15 yrs, often during the Hills Garlic Festival and we always wish to find a room here. What a beautiful and historic home, wonderful location facing Slocan Lake and fantastic people to meet.

Owner Not friendly at all, they did not introduce themselves, would not recommend staying there. Left early without breakfast as the smoke detector kept going off starting at 4 am then every 20 minutes,

The location was lovely, right across the lake, and the beds were comfortable, but the breakfast was really disappointing. One of the reasons we choose to stay in a Bed & Breakfast is so that we can meet new people, chat with the hosts, and enjoy a good hearty breakfast. The hosts was friendly, in a very business-like way, but...

Comfortable room, friendly hostess, great breakfast. Oh yes, and the location is amazing, right across the street from the lake!

While a bit on the budget side of the scale - the staff here are very friendly and accommodating. We were able to get a room that would accommodate 2 adults and three kids (usually hard to find). They cooked breakfast for us as well. Wi-fi was a bit weak in the room, but we had the farthest room from...

We have known these hosts and this place for several years and have enjoyed each stay, some with kids, one with senior parents along also. The cleanliness is great! The cold or hot breakfast are healthy and generous. The location is top notch. We put our boat in Slocan Lake across the road and fish and swim there. The patio...

We stayed here as part of an organized bike trip and the hostess could not have been better, serving us two delightful breakfasts, fresh eggs, toast, granola, home made yogurt and a salmon dinner with sides of lettuce and strawberries from her garden. We ate on a comfortable backyard patio and supplied our own adult beverages from the local store....

Sharing a bathroom with two other rooms for $170.00 at this B&B was out of line. The owner was not helpful, nor did she have the personality that someone in this business should have. The B&B is located on a very nice street, beachfront, that would be the highlight of the stay.

We very much enjoyed our recent stay at the Sweet Dreams Guesthouse in New Denver. After a long hard bicycle ride, we were welcomed warmly by Lorie and shown to our bright cheerful room with private bath (room 2). The windows overlooked the lake just across the road and the meadow at the side of the house. A good hot...
