Everything about our self-catering holiday in River House (Spean Lodge) was perfect: it is spacious, immaculately clean, well-equipped and comfortable. Whilst we'd chosen to self-cater, the warm reception we received from Glen made us feel that we were still being 'looked after' and that nothing was too much trouble. He gave us a comprehensive and informative 'tour' of River House...

My husband, 21 year old daughter and I stayed at Spean Lodge for three nights in June and absolutely loved it. Glen and Suzanne are lovely hosts and so helpful in making plans of what to do each day. The house is beautiful and we loved our large bedroom. Breakfast was always a special treat with so many things to...

We are just back from a road tour of Scotland, we toured the ring of Scotland from Edinburg to Perthshire then to the Royal Deeside & the Cairngorms, then to the Highlands, down along Lochness and Loch Lomond, then the West coast and the islands, finally Glasgow and Edinburgh. Spean Lodge is absolutely the best place we stayed together only...

We are a french family of three people; we had a trip in Scotland and slept in 8 different B&Bs during this time. We decided to score a few things to compare our experiences in those B & B (cleaning; noise; welcome; Wifi; tea in the room, breakfast, beds, interesting places to see nearby; recent renovation) . Spean Lodge had...

Lucky to get a night's accommodation anywhere, we were fortunate to stay at Spean Lodge. Glen warmly welcomed us and helped us with our baggage to our room. He also suggested we make a reservation at one of the local restaurants as they book quickly. He did this for us. A great recommendation also. Our room was so comfortable I...

Really nice B&B with historic flair and hosts which really care for you. We enjoyed our stay in this location which is whereas located in the village centre very quiet. The bathroom looked newly refurbished in a modern style which was a nice contrast to the historic design of the twin room and the whole house. We enjoyed the best...

Fabulous guesthouse, great location in the centre of the small village. Glen could not do enough for his guests. We had not made dinner reservations and he rang and managed to find us a table at a local restaurant a short walk away which was very nice. Our room was lovely, very homely with a beautiful new shower room. There...

This is a fantastic B&B in the village of Spean Bridge. It is set back off the main road in lovely gardens, and is a very peaceful and relaxing place to stay. You are only a few minutes walk from good restaurants and the local shops, and about 1 mile from the Commando memorial. The house was beautiful and has been...

The house was gorgeous and has been tastefully decorated and restored. Everything from the rugs to the wall hangings were outstanding. The linens were brilliant - 5-star hotel quality. Modern bathroom. Delicious breakfast in a beautiful dining room. Glenn was delightfully welcoming. I can't recommend this B&B enough. I wish I had stayed there longer.

We stayed here for one night after a trip on the Jacobite Express which was a Christmas present from me to my husband. This is lovely a B&B and Glen the owner was very helpful, nothing was too much trouble. He recommended a lovely circular walk from the house taking in the Commando Memorial and his local knowledge is extensive....
