We stayed later in the year than the two reviewers who suffered from the midges and had only a couple of quiet units for company so experienced no problems at all. The site is beautifully situated, of a nice size, well equipped and well cared for. Importantly, after a chilling experience the previous night in Scotland, the toilet/shower rooms were...

My wife and I stayed at this site for a week beginning 30 August. We have been coming here for over 30 years and as usual the site was in first class condition thanks to the pleasant, efficient and helpful staff. It was good to see that the internet is available throughout the site and for free. Other Parks could...

This could be a beautiful place for a holiday. Alas due to the insects. (Walls of them) it is impossible to leave your van after dusk. I booked for 14 days alas I have asked for a refund for the last 7 days. ( I will update once i get a response) G. Bell

We had planned to stay for 2 nites and was looking forward to a break to relax after a stressful few months. The site itself, we can't complain about, Ian was friendly and very helpful, facilities clean. We got our tent set up and booked an electric hook up, then 2 large caravans arrived with about 6 children between them,...

We camped here for two nights as we wanted to visit Giant's Causeway before catching the ferry to Scotland and this location was best suited our plans. The amenities are very clean and well kept and there is a nice walk along the river. The tent pitches are the sites furthest from the ablution block but it is only a...

Right on the river and short walk to loch and town centre. Well kept campsite owned by council. Quite a lot of rules and key numbers for facilities and barrier but it keeps it safe. You cannot arrive until 1 p.m. Leave by 12 noon. No longer stay than 7 nights. Toilets and showers are fine. Stainless steel sinks and...
