Stayed for a weekend at end of March in a superior room on the booze and snooze offer. Excellent room, excellent food and very friendly staff. Great atmosphere in the pub. Were even offered a flask to take on our walk. Highly recommended and we hope to be back sometime.

Went for a walk near Flouch and popped in for a quick drink, food looked good too. Nice cosy atmosphere and good ale. I found I'd lost an expensive glove when I got home so got in touch with the pub in case I'd left it there. They'd not only had it handed in (dropped in the car park) but... More

I went here for my anniversary with my wife. It was great. We had an upgrade and stayed in a lovely room with character. It was clean, big, warm and everything was quality. We had a great dinner in the evening with some lovely food and good beer. The staff were helpful and friendly - especially the very polite guy... More

Called in travelling back from Skegness for our tea on a cold wet evening to be graet by a nice warm log fire. The place is cosy and warm and food is great. Haveriven past many times but will be calling in more often.

We were looking for somewhere to stay around this location last minute. We came across this place and thought it was great value for B&B. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the accommodation was clean and of good standard, and the breakfast offered a lot of choice and was yummy! We also ate in the restaurant and found the... We stopped here for some lunch after a family funeral. It was such a pleasant surprise. Warm greeting & a lovely real coal fire. Nice choice on menu & excellent portions. Beef Stroganoff & Chicken Caesar salad were chosen. Both were excellent followed by Eaton Mess. It was great.

Sunday meal here with relatives from Manchester. Roast beef was amazing and beautiful vegetables, loved the red cabbage. Staff were so polite and accommodating even with a lively toddler. Lovely homely pub. Thankyou for making us welcome

Had a lovely birthday lunch here on a Sunday. The situation was idyllic on the day with lapwings cavorting in the sky around the Inn and the sun shining. I thought the mains we had were excellent, I particularly enjoyed the Chicken Breast, though the salmon, steak and ale pie and roast beef were all appreciated. The jam sponge was... More

Thanks for your time. Sorry about the Jam Sponge, but I suppose it is what it is, a traditional Jam Sponge, served on a white china plate with a white china cream/custard jug, bringing back memories of a childhood. Andrea More

We have eaten here on several previous occasions and enjoyed the food. However, after a long detour we were looking forward to lunch today. We ordered slow roast pork belly on a rosti - sounded wonderful. It was not. It was tough, I doubt the pork had been in the oven for an hour the fat was a flabby mess... More

As a family business, we are greatly concerned that customers feel that they cannot express their concerns in person rather that viewing them on a social media platform, especially when money has been exchanged. This is generally a contract that the service and product received was to the customers satisfaction and it is vitally important that customers feel comfortable in... More
