As others have commented, the ship is beautifully restored and very characterful. Rachel was friendly and provided a lovely cream tea, good breakfast and good recommendations for dinner. But, we found that the bed in the Captain's Cabin was exceptionally hard (I think the floor was softer) and we both had achy backs in the morning. Also, the shower didn't...

Fabulous experience........... Rachel made us feel very comfortable and relaxed....... fresh scones to order, Quality stay my only regret was we had booked to go out in Rochester .... when we boarded the Lightship wish could just have stayed in. I booked this as a surprise treat and a thank you for my other half but he surprise me more..........

Another honeymoon with my best mate! This time on the unique Lightship16. What an unusual venue. Beautifully restored and fitted out to a very high standard. Every little home comfort is there for you. There are two double bedrooms and you share the living/dining/kitchen space with the other pair of guests - our fellow shipmates were lovely and we nattered...

Four of us just stayed on here for a night and what a great time we had. Rachel Greeted us with freshly made scones and tea and coffee and a whole introduction to the boat.You have half the boat with 2 bedrooms ensuite and open plan kitchen diner to yourselves. It is all very nicely done clean and very unique....
