I recently spent the weekend at Anchor Lodge.with a friend. Our rooms were wonderful with every comfort and absolutely spotless. The view from the visitor's lounge at both the immaculate garden that was clearly a labour of love, and to the sea beyond made breakfast extra special. Barb and Geoff made us very welcome and created a very relaxed atmosphere-they...

We have just spent 3 glorious nights and days at Broadstairs. Upon arrival at Anchor Lodge I was a little concerned that there are only 2 letting rooms that are very much part of the home of the owers Geoff and Barb and that it would feel a little strange having "shared" space. How wrong could I have been. Both...

Last week, my wife and I enjoyed a week at Anchor Lodge owned by Barb and Geoff. We arrived in Broadstairs at about 1.30pm and were looking to find somewhere to stop for lunch when Barb rang us. We were about two miles away, but Geoff stayed on the phone and navigated us to the Guest House - very kind....

The Anchor lodge was fantastic. Lovely, super clean room with ensuite, very accessible price. We had a full English Breakfast, freshly cooked by the lovely hostess, who filled us in on local attractions and life in broadstairs. The view from the dining room was amazing with a lovely flowery garden! Accomodation was absolutely lovely and the host were extremely welcoming.

We found the Anchor Lodge to be very clean, the breakfast excellent, the facillites could not be faulted and the lady of the house very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. The down side, if you can call it that, was we felt we were in her home and not like in one of the many other B&B's we...

We stumbled across Anchor Lodge when driving around having just arrived in Broadstairs. What a lucky find! The room was spotless and very comfortable with lots of small thoughtful touches to make us feel at home including tea and biscuits and local information. Barb went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed and we couldn't...

If you are planning a break in Broadstairs you cant go wrong staying with Barbara and Jeff at the Anchor Lodge. 10 mins walk from the famous Viking Bay which has many great restaurants and pubs. The room is clean and very comfortable with all amenities and the breakfast choice and quality was wanderful. The views out to sea from...

Luckily, friends who had already stayed at Anchor Lodge recommended this charming B&B in Broadstairs. Jeff and Barbara are great hosts and their home and rooms are immaculate. The B&B is just a few minutes walk from Broadstairs along a pleasant road with plenty of parking. We have no idea what Nedytan was going on about after their visit in...
