It is nearly impossible to stay there without a car, there is no possibility to walk anywhere or get any fresh food nearby. Only possibility is the restaurant inside the hotel. Rooms were large, carpet seemed old and used

We stay here at least a couple of times per year, as we use it as our regular stop over when we drive from the UK to Hamburg with our dog. The hotel charges a small fee for accepting our dog, but once we are checked in, there is very little restriction on where in the hotel we can take...

Since the hotels of Amsterdam were too expensive we reserved 2 rooms in this hotel that is far from Amsterdam. It was clean. We used free parking but didn't eat breakfast in hotel. Little refrigerator in room would be handy.

This is not the easiest building to run as a hotel but Van der Valk has managed to do so with the huge professionalism that characterises the chain. On arrival I received an uograde to a large room with a bathroom that met my request for a shower separate from the bath. Breakfast is very good with the bonus of...

We stayed in this hotel a few weeks ago and we were very disappointed having stayed in other Van der Valks, this time we opted for a more expensive room and the difference was considerable although the price was only €10 more with a really good last minute deal on the Valk website, the Valk website is not the most...

We spent 2 nights here. The hotel is definitely showing its age. Dirty and worn carpeting is common. The bar is closed during the week. The room is average and was too warm because the heated towel rack could not be turned off. The restaurant is very good.

Comfortable stay in a hotel that despite a recent update still feels somewhat outdated. The rooms a good though, albeit without air-conditioning. Restaurant serves generally tasty dinner, sufficiently good at least if you don't want to leave the hotel during your stay. Breakfast is average in choice, but good otherwise.

Stayed for 5 nights in business and it was really good. Nice room and a very good breakfast. But two things bothered me : One was that the air conditioning did not work satisfactorily. Minimum temperature and maximum fan and yet it was 25 degrees in the room. The second was that the TV had no HDMI input connector which...

Very spread out building with a long wslk to some rooms. Elevators not working in some parts. Bit of a ghost town in the evening which is weird as there are 2-3 bars! Rooms are dated, but clean and quiet. Breakfast cold continental style unless you like omlettes. Hotel and bars really fill up around 1030 with lots of business...
