This is quality accommodation at a very reasonable price in a wonderful location. We had a comfortable and spacious bedroom with some nice outside space. The cleanliness was impeccable and everything looks good and well maintained. The pool, although a bit chilly, provided welcome relief to one of us after some scorching weather. The food was excellent; copious breakfasts and...

We had a question with our reservation and they were incredibly unpolite and offended us instead of keeping calm. They acused us of not wanting to pay despite my husband had the credit card in his hand for 20min saying "but I want to pay, we just want to clarify why the price is different from our reservation". They were...

What. A. Find. When we booked here, it was because we couldn't get a room in one of the more celebrated hotels in Miranda Do Douro. Phew, a close shave. This place is an absolute gem. It's pretty functional, insofar as it's not luxurious, but then you would not expect luxury for the price you pay. What you do get...

This is a wonderful place on your stopover from Portugal to Spain. The food is overwhelming, eat dinner here, you will love it. Breakfast amazing as well and for that price there is no better place. Rooms are very comfortable, with very good matrasses and cotton sheets.

This place is really good. We stayed one night and we really loved it. The rooms are very good, the service very good and the breakfast excellent. This house is quite modern but it keeps some of the traditional country house look and feel with a lovely outside area with traditional farm tools. It has a nice swimming pool and...

We had some accommodation cancelled on us in Leon so in a huff I decided to head to Portugal instead. We found this place on booking.com and the pictures looked ok so we thought why not. I knew it was out of town so thought a couple of quiet days would be good. I have to say I was so...

We travelled from Porto across northern Portugal en route for Salamanca and booked into this rural accommodation. We were so impressed from the moment we arrived. This converted farmhouse has everything you could want. The evening meal was excellent, the rooms modern and well equipped and the staff very helpful. We were 2 "mature" couples but I would recommend it...

As an English couple living in northern Portugal we have so much to explore. Our latest adventure took us to the isolated region of Miranda do Douro. We stayed a night at in Casas da Quinta. This was a real treat. A beautifully modernised farm house. The family owners made us feel very welcome and special. Our room although small,...
