There are too many wonderful things to say about the Walaker Hotell, I don't know where to start. The rooms themselves are nothing special (but they are clean and roomy). It's the art gallery with rotating exhibitions, the friendly and knowledgeable staff, exceptional service, absolutely delicious food and gorgeous location that made our experience here so special. To start, dinner...

I felt so thoroughly comfortable in this hotel. After a hard day of hiking to feel thoroughly pampered by an extremely comfortable antique bed, in a very well appointed room decorated with superb attention to detail. I have uploaded some snaps. Probably more important is the experience of being a guest here. This is a place to celebrate The staff...

My husband and I stayed here in early June while on a road trip. This was my favorite hotel of the trip! Beautiful views and friendly staff. We decided to do dinner at the hotel and splurge. It was worth it! We loved the candles, the gardens (especially at night with the lanterns), the porch (with blankets!), and the comfortable...

We splurged and decided to stay one night at the hotel and experience their prix fixe menu. The room is in a separate building and has its own backyard sitting area facing the hotel garden. The rooms are spacious and heating works well. We splurged and had the 4 course dinner and all were excellent with good wine pairings. The...

We stayed at this lovely, vintage hotel about midway through our Norwegian vacation...it was a lovely oasis for a weary traveler....you can wander around the beautiful gardens or have a glass of wine in the gardens enjoying the view of the mountains and the fjord. This hotel is vintage, but doesn't lack amenities to make you comfortable....our package included the...

We enjoyed this small hotel for one night while traveling in Norway. They offer a annex building which is separate from the hotel. We stayed in room 112 . Spacious. , spotless , comfy outside seating to sit back and view the fjord. Grounds are perfect for sitting and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere. Option for a four course evening meal...

Such a beautiful place to stay. We stayed in a historical room in the main house. It was large and had amazing views. Strongly recommend booking the evening 4 course meal. It was amazing. Solvorn is a quiet place with an amazing view. So peaceful and relaxing. Thanks Heidi for looking after us!

We only spent one night here, but it was perfect. At check in, we were greeted warmly and the woman working the desk provided us with a ton of helpful information on Solvorn and she helped us to plan our day, including a trip across the fjord to the Urnes Stave Church. Reception is in the original part of the...

I can't say enough about this amazing little inn! The location is superb and the village and hotell are idyllic! Our room, #23, was beautiful and very comfortable. I enjoyed the deep cast iron tub every evening, and the view of the rose garden and fjord was breathtaking. We enjoyed our breakfast and diners in the restaurant very much. The...

This hotel is in a gorgeous location. I was really looking forward to staying there given the outstanding reviews. Nice to stay in a place that was out of the way. We had booked a superior room as we knew that they were bigger and the views would be good. When we arrived we were offered rooms in the historic...

Thank you for your review Sandra, We are very sorry for that you experience was not what you hoped for. When it comes to dinner we try to be clear to our guests, on our website, different booking sites and direct contact, that a set four course at 7.30 is what we offer. And also as you say, we offer...
